My home town! I take guided walking tours here, focusing on events in the town during the Second World War. You'll hear about the significance of the Churchill Tank while on the tour, as well as the important products made by local factories, the establishment of the 1st US Rangers Battalion, life for civilians in wartime conditions, and much more besides.
I’ve just found your channel today and subscribed! I don’t understand how the views and comments are so low. It just doesn’t seem legitimate! Anyway I’m living in Australia and on my last visit home in 2015 my brother Paul (now deceased) took me to visit Carrickfergus Castle. I’ve always loved it and felt a strong affinity with it when I finally got to see inside! My brother died one year after our visit to the Castle, so this video touches me on many different levels. Thank you.❤️
Loved the video the sun on the water is stunning, very enjoyable to watch.
Glad you enjoyed it. thanks for joining us 😊

I will look you up when I am next in N.I. as I would be very interested in one of your tours. 👍

Our sincerest condolences. Thank you for your kind comments and pleased it meant so much. Carrick castle is something special.
Carrickfergus reminds me of Caernarfon with the harbour and Castle, although the Welsh Castle is different in design. Very interesting video 😀
Probably our most prolific castle, though it was better many years ago it's still impressive now.
