    Law jus explained the rocker. He made a whole blade talk about what he needs to fix for v2 and tips to fix sum of the issues. Overall I dig the omni and will be stayin on it for sum time til the v2 comes out

    • @rickydangler
      @rickydangler 9 місяців тому +1

      He thinks the factory didnt let the sole plates cure long enough beforw throwing em on boot. Said it can be fixes if u jus attach the frames with the frame bolts first then let sit for a day before putting the sole hardware in and it fixes the issue. For a launch skate they did pretty good and u gotta love an owner who is so transparent and is determined to hear everyone out n fix the issues. He said the v2 hes aiming for to drop in summer 🤞🏻

    Glad you tried the Intution with the AG60s as this is how i'd set up some Omni's. Still torn between these and Mesmers for my next purchase. Skating Eugen Shadows at the moment and have been for a while but i'm fancying a hard boot again.

    • @ShredCitySkatesKelvW
      @ShredCitySkatesKelvW  9 місяців тому +1

      Nice! Definitely try on the boots if you can, somehow 🤷🏾‍♂️ both skates are pretty different from each other. If you have flat, very flat feet.. the mesmers will hurt your arches

    • @Stoitism
      @Stoitism 9 місяців тому

      @@ShredCitySkatesKelvW Yeah I'll likely have to order both in the mail and send one pair back. Which would you say has the most flex of the two? After skating shadows I've come to favour flex over stiffness. As for arches I have insanely high arches so that's not an issue for me. I actually prefer to use flat footprint insoles in my skates as I hate the feeling of arch support.

    • @ShredCitySkatesKelvW
      @ShredCitySkatesKelvW  9 місяців тому +1

      @Stoitism the mesmers might be the one for you then 🤷🏾‍♂️ it's a highish cuff, supportive but flexible. The cuff is very stiff on the omni's but, also depends on tight you do your cuffs on any skate. I generally skate with my cuffs loose, regardless

    • @Stoitism

      @@ShredCitySkatesKelvW Thanks dude, appreciate the insight! If the mesmers are more flexy then they're probably the ones for me. Nice one 😎

    I had to file my standard Omni frames to fit 58mm wheels. The 2nd and 3rd wheel slots i had to file the plastic.

    Love your detailed reviews. Thx ! 👍🏻 Your review mirrors a lot of other reviews where ppl change the frame, change the liner, they heatmold, put in additional insoles, and and and. There is pretty much nothing left of the original skate….

    • @ShredCitySkatesKelvW
      @ShredCitySkatesKelvW  9 місяців тому

      Thanks homie 🙏🏽 yeah.. but, most "seasoned" skaters are more than likely to customize their set up. Most won't skate things stock. Same goes for scooter, skateboards, even bike riders 🤷🏾‍♂️ hell, you can even say the same with musicians and their set ups... we all have personal preferences

    i got the shell only and my flaps meet when i buckle up xD not too much of a faff, though they did set a bit straighter than yours. might have to try that can trick

      Yeah mine was sitting straight like yours, that's why I molded them. Real easy to do, do it at night and leave them set over night ✌🏽

    Great Vid Kelv! Super informative! Just curious, do you ride the AG60's full flat or with the 1mm rocker option, and why? :D

    • @ShredCitySkatesKelvW
      @ShredCitySkatesKelvW  9 місяців тому

      Thanks man 👊🏼 I ride flat. I use the 152mn frames, if I was the ride rocked I'd probably gor for the next size up, I think they're 165mm? Longer wheel wheel base for rocker, just a bit more stability. Kind of like the oysi frames 🤷🏾‍♂️

    Your foot size and the condition of your flat feet are the same as mine, I also use intuition liner premium but deliberately with size 7-7.5, I continue to monitor what you think about omni, I was considering choosing the Mesmer Throne TS2 size 40-41, but in the video you said the Mesmer feels narrow, if so then it will be problematic for long term use

    • @ShredCitySkatesKelvW
      @ShredCitySkatesKelvW  9 місяців тому

      Yo, feet brothers! 🙌🏽 yeah.. so mesmer are narrow in the arches, so they hurt that part of my feet. Otherwise I would skate them. Same problem with USD Sway

      @amyrul685 the small fit me fine 🤷🏾‍♂️ and the small omni also fit my size 8us intuition liners. But I also use 2 heel pads, giving me alittle tiny bit more room

    I can't imagine buying a skate that you have to diy it to make it work. That's a poor company and just shitty construction. It's laughable and the company owner shud be boycotted till they actually performed a quality making of something. We buy things to be mint condition and 110% ready to go. What a joke .

    • @ShredCitySkatesKelvW

      To be fair.. I've always had to customize whatever skate I've gotten.. some more than others 🤷🏾‍♂️ it's pretty near impossible to make a plastic boot/skate that will fit every foot shape in the world. My feet are flat, no arches.. so there's skates/boots that don't fit my feet at all 🤷🏾‍♂️ there's others that have brought these boots, and they've fit them perfectly. I personally haven't found the "perfect" skate/boot for me right out of the box. There's so many intricacies to think about, the style of frames, wheel size, wheel profile, wheel hardness, size and shape of soulplate, type of cuff, and the height and stiffness of the cuff.. the shape of the boot, width, height, how does it corresponds and work with the cuff... lace hole, how wide apart and how high to go, then the over all look of the skate and textures.. what about hardware.. don't even get me started on liners 😅
      I've got my skates dialed in now and they're real good 🤘🏽
