@@bendaff9618 Just 3"pipes and a 2.5 to 3inch adapter. Standard cat in this setup, no muffler and the rest might some lucky hands. Don´t know why others have some big issues with it.
Hey mate, just wondering if this has a turbo upgrade of any sort? I have a 3 inch turbo back exhaust system on mine and am chasing the flutter sound of the turbo you can hear at 0:48. Any tips on how to make it sound like that?
Hi mate I recently took out the muffler out of my 2005 hilux and it sounds no where near as good as this. Any suggestions as I’m thinking of taking out the cat to make it sound like this ?
Not sure mate, I was still running the stock cat in the video. Maybe there is a difference between our engines. I have a german model. You took the muffler out but the diameter is still stock?
Yes all I did to it was take out the muffler and put a 3inch pipe instead. It sounds much louder than before but it doesn’t have that Initial loud grunt on low revs like yours does which I’m looking for
Straight through after the original cat. diameter goes from 2,5" original to 3". Little bit the form of the outlet, oval sounds different than normal. K&N Airfilter. Thats it, thats all!!

Yes, no more resonator, just the turbo, the cat and then a 3" pipe. Thats it!!

No turbo upgrade, but a geman model with stock 170hp. Only software from Toyota Motorsport and a K&N Filter.
I reckon you'll just need a K&N filter.
so this one has no resonator?
Jepp this one not. I built a new a few weeks ago with a diesel race cat and a resonator. Sounds different but also really nice.
