it might not look like it in the anime, but Umemiya is canonically 6'2" (188cm), Hiragi's just half an inch shorter (187cm), and Sugishita's 6'4" (194cm)
Not sure if the boss man really 'puts up a face' to the oppositions vs him just being serious because he's pissed, even Sakura felt that menacing aura and he seems very protective of the town and his people. He probably turned the switch on the moment he saw his guys beat up.
Not a fan of the 2nd 1v1 fight blue-balling these past episodes. First Sakura vs the long haired guy, then now Umemiya vs the opp leader. Hopefully we get to see some actual fights next ep, unless they get interrupted again. (Perhaps I've just been spoiled by recent awesomely paced Anime like Solo-Leveling lol, but I get it, story/character building and all that).
2nd coming of Zenitsu is a liiiittle bit annoying. He's Zenitsu without the comedic exaggerated animation and no badass power mode (for now). I'm sure some manga reader is gonna say he probably gets better char development later. He slightly ruined the badass 'walk to meet opps' scene with his non-stop scaredy-cat crying
The glasses slow-talker mop head guy is weirdly likeable. He talks just slow enough for it to not be painfully annoying but sounds distinct and it's pretty entertaining.
This is just the prequel, all i can say is the upcoming episodes are gonna be insane
lmao no a thing u gotta realize later on as it will show more but sakura gets very embarrassed at any show of affection whether directed to him or like seeing others (probably cause he's not used to it) also sugishita the one with the long hair worships the leader umemiya so bro tends to get angry if any sort of disrespect is directed towards umemiya, thus threw that chair cause sakura was being rude for thinking kotoha ;who umemiya adores, is old

Better than Tokyo revengers .. Tokyo revengers is garbage
Ima need to see how the 1 on 1 fights go. Main character of wind breaker is definitely more hype/competent in terms of fighting and has a 'stronger' personality. But Tokyo Revengers had it's moments with awesome music and decently animated fights, and Takemichi had his moments while getting inspiringly beat up.
This show has the potential to surpass it but we gotta see them fights first. They've blue-balled us twice with the 1 on 1's and postponed them. Hope they don't cheap out on animation quality, it's apparently animated by Cloverworks who did SpyxFamily and that anime had some AWESOME animation scenes.
Stfu How does Tokyo Revenge compare to this mid anime? How can you call Tokyo Revengeer trash when it has a stronger plot, more developed characters, etc.? As I only watch anime, I have no idea what happens in Windbreaker after that, but from what I've seen, the only plot is about someone who wants to be at the top of Furin. From the looks of things, that's all the story has to offer a generic plot involving fight scenes and action scenes-and that's what the story is going to be about. They are randomly doing 1v1s for no apparent reason because of the situation that started in episode 3. Thus far, it appears that the plot lacks any substance at all. The only thing that windbreaker has better then Tokyo revengers is animation that's it.
The only thing this show got above TR is the animation. If TR was well animated, people would call it peak. The author of this series is a huge TR fan and said that its heavily inspired by it lmao
