My main job is teaching at Louisiana Tech University. I also do private consulting; I have a firm called Swanbom Engineering LLC. I am a licensed PE in the state of Louisiana. How about you...where do you teach? Do you also have other employment?
I appreciate that you share your lectures and I can tell you that they have been a big refresher. Teaching must be fun and rewarding. I bet it helps you to keep up to date with the technical developments in your field of interest as PE. I wish I could teach, but it requires PhD, right? I am mechanical engineering graduate, 2012, from a Turkish university. Moved to Canada same year I graduated, began working for ThyssenKrupp Elevator Canada and been working here for almost 8 years. Studying to get my P.Eng this year, and thinking it would be an honour to meet you in person one day Sir. And if you will show me what you know about engineering business and how to be a lecturer, I promise I will work for you for free;)
Example 2 was truly a beautiful problem. Thank you for sharing!
Thank you so much for making this topic easy to understand.
Lets say we need shearing stress on pin E (even though it doesn't need to be asked) . Souldn't we consider a FEx component for that pin ?32:00

Thank you for answer. I missed note that at 10:41.
In which company do you practice as PE, sir?
