Thank you so much! This video was very helpful!
this was so helpful. I missed a step at first, but went back and started from scratch with your tutorial and SUCCESS! I was so excited and appreciate your swiftness in the lesson
This was very helpful. Steps are super easy to follow. Thank you very much!
Hey Arjun.. I wanted to follow up with you and let you know that this video helped me start my freelancing journey. I am using Mamp on Mac... I have since learned how to install multiple sites in the database for fresh installs of each client. I was going to take the route of making a WP Multisite.. but I believe this will be my project on the RPI Dev environment. I also began using Git for version control procedures within the last couple days, to aid this operation. Thank you so much for all your help.. Keep Thriving Arjun!!
Amazing, where are you from ??
Tutorial was perfect!! Thank you for helping me establish this environment on my Mac!

Can I make a second site? I made another wordpress folder in the htdocs, named it wordpress(1) and made another php database named wordpress(1) then went to localhost/wordpress(1) but it just went back to my first site with an error code. How can I make a second site with this method?
Hey Anju, thank you for the great tutorial. I just have a question - is it safe to keep the database username and password as root? Or are hacking attempts usually only aimed at your Wordpress account?
It shows error establishing adatabase connection right after I enter the database connection details
same mine
Same here
If anyone messes up.. and tries to reinstall it all, and gets database errors or MAMP doesn’t load right. Be sure to empty your trash bin. It took me a few times 😊
I have a problem (Unable to write to wp-config.php file.
You can create the wp-config.php file manually and paste the following text into it.
Configuration rules for wp-config.php:
After you’ve done that, click “Run the installation”.
Run the installation
)
How do i link it with hostinger for web hosting?
Good option. Check namecheap as well
I'm not understanding why "root" won't work for a username
Thank you, after the process when i am trying to upload a them i am getting this error "Warning: POST Content-Length of 21024005 bytes exceeds the limit of 8388608 bytes in Unknown on line 0
The link you followed has expired."
can you help me with this error
thank You
It says error. Do we make up a new database username, if not where do we find it?
Same for me. Error establishing a database connection right after I enter the database connection details
I figured it out. When you enter the database connection details, the first field needs to be the name you used when you created the database at 2:50 in the video.
You are going very fast. Slow down please.
when I type localhost/wordpress in the browser it gives me 404 error and not found
nvm I type localhost wrong
"MAAAAMP"
