- Do you like Jazz? Just kidding. The Etude Op. 25 No. 5 from Chopin, also known as “wrong note etude”, is an etude in which a series of fast, dissonant minor seconds is played (something similar to “grace notes”; the joke at the beginning). Because of the effect this piece generates in the sound of its technique, it would later earn its nickname "wrong note". Interesting concept for a piano etude, isn't it? :)

Thank you! I got the MIDI file from piano-e-competition.com (I'm not sure if the page will be back or not, as it has been "under maintenance" for several months). There used to be information on who played the piece included with the year of the competition. As far as I remember, they did not record or post videos of the performances on the page, only MIDI.
