Small/petty note; these would be potentiometers, not encoders! _†(well - on the Moog at least; the Microcosm is 100% digital so most likely all encoders there)_
Yeah I utilize Ableton Live to sequence the Mother-32 and then the M-32 goes into the Microcosm and from their back into my audio interface to record the sequence in Ableton Live.
@@CadansTube not sure how many steps exactly (I’m using an arp as well but I assume it’s 32) and regarding the Microcosm, I’m just sending it clock so that the FX are synced to the tempo
I've come across this vid again. Proper stunning man. I use a big sky hooked to my OB6 THOUGH I gotta get one of those microcosm bad boys! The moog has a f nice filter btw.
Thank you and welcome to the channel! This is just a single sequence from the M-32 with FX from the Microcosm on top, I didn't use the Microcosm's looping function
Great! Is this honestly only M32 and Microcosm? Could you possibly make a little demo of your work with the microcosm? Seems to be a rather interesting machine...
Cheers Alexander! Yes, this is M32 with reverb + delay and then running through the Microcosm and recorded. I definitely want to make a video on the MC with M32 in the future but I already have an older one with Microcosm in combo with the Digitone: ua-cam.com/video/duyhVqntDdc/v-deo.html
That filter opening is just gorgeous
Thank you Sebastian! Yeah these Moog ladder filters just sound soo good. Love it 💚
ab fab!@@MilesKvndra
Love that analog sound of the mother
Cheers Cole! That’s a lovely sound for sure
Have a Microcosm arriving in a few days.
Can't wait to try it on my Subharmonicon 😻
Congrats! And I think that will be a great combo - the Subharmonicon is such a cool synth I think it will sound awesome with the Microcosm. 🙏🏻
Sounds amazing.
Thank you! 💜
Can’t wait for my microcosm in the mail. Makes even the simplest sounds just sound better
Yeah Adam! It definitely does and it is a ton of fun to play around with - enjoy it! 🙌🏻
just. wow.
Cheers Phillip! 🙏🏻

Cheers dude! Hope you are digging the sound 🙏🏻
Really nice 👌 more please
Cheers Lloyd! Yeah there is more coming in the future for sure 🙌🏻

That is insanely awesome! Love it 🙏 I could sit there All day just messing with the encoders!
Thanks a bunch aurumtree! Yeah it has something meditative to turn these encoders, right? Cheers dude :)

It definitely is - thanks Steve!
Lovely. Nice work.
Thanks a lot, much appreciated! 🙏🏻
Hammer
Danke Marcus!
What a great pair!
It absolutely is, love the combo. 💚
Really nice! I just got three mother 32's and I'm playing around with microcosm. But you nailed it so simply
Cheers Bern! And wow, three mothers is a lot of oscillators and patching around - I bet this is a ton of fun. Enjoy!
Woow - fantastic🎉
Thank you! 🙏🏻
That’s amazing
Thank you!
Damn that was good!
Thank you! Appreciate the feedback 🙏🏻
Muito bom
Thank you
awesome sound 😍how do you record it?:)
What do you have your cords plugged into? Is there additional equipment you utilize? Thank you in advance.
Yeah I utilize Ableton Live to sequence the Mother-32 and then the M-32 goes into the Microcosm and from their back into my audio interface to record the sequence in Ableton Live.
@@MilesKvndra wow thank you! I really appreciate you so very much!
@@MilesKvndra how many steps in the sequence? Any other MIDI instruction (e.g. to the Microcosm)?

Ahh thanks dude! Really happy that you dig this. OB6 with Big Sky sounds like an awesome combo too, that reverb is simply stunning. 💚
nice, the first time someone is using a different preset than mosaic 4 😜
Haha yeah that's probably the most popular one. But I have to admit that I'm using it a lot as well - sounds so lush. 💚
😍
Rigooni - The Biology of Belief 😊
Nice what’s that?
@@MilesKvndra your experiments reminded me of this song
@@lhr_arms just checked it, good one! Thanks for the tip 🙌🏻
epic
Thank you!
I'd like to hear a demo from the Moog matriarch Arp if you have one.
Hey Cole, unfortunately I don’t have that synth. It it’s arp sounds really lovely!
🎓
Cheers Ablaza 🙏🏻
Subbed! Is this just a single sequence from the m32 with effects from the microcosm, or have you looped multiple sequences via the Microcosm?
Thank you and welcome to the channel! This is just a single sequence from the M-32 with FX from the Microcosm on top, I didn't use the Microcosm's looping function
I really wish I could justify getting a mother-32
Yeah it's a great device and I really love it. It just sounds sooo good 💚
@@MilesKvndra now you're just making me jealous, inspiring jam though
@@dijjidog sorry haha didn't mean to! Stay strong with the GAS creaping up I know this feeling too well
@@MilesKvndra don't worry about it i was half joking

May i ask what camera you’re using?
I use the Fujifilm X-H2S, super happy with it!
did you use daw and midi, and how if so?
Yeah I used Ableton Live to send MIDI to the M-32. My audio interface has a midi output so I just connect it to the midi input of the M-32
Sounds like yoshi city
Cheers Barry! That’s an interesting reference, need to check that.
