Thank you for discussing these topics. I don’t know where all of these videos are coming from. I’m not going to be a billboard for these companies. No logos for me. Logos are for poor people, etc… 🤦🏾♀️ I always go back to the videos where you discussed the Chanel custom wedding gowns starting at $100,000. The designer brands are not for poor people. I appreciate your commentary. ☺️
I read comments on different videos where so many people are talking down about those who wear logos. People pretending to be rich, logos are tacky, etc…. I wonder if they would call the wealthy during the Gilded Age tacky. They used Louis Vuitton steamer trunks when they traveled. I see one for $185,000 and another for $150,000 on the website. Both of them are sold out because of wealthy people. 😉
I think the luxury is over and dead videos are valid completely, as they do have some weighted truth to them. These content creators have shared personal experiences, I would be full of rage if my Chanel items broke after 20 minutes of use too haha. The sales are down, their is proof of quality decline etc. But as you said, economies go in waves so who knows what is to come. People are still buying it in droves..... although a lot of the financial reports were down last quarterly release. I think mostly due to the Chinese consumer shifting their spending habits in 2024. Do I think they are over? They are in a low, but no. They will adapt ....
Sales aren't down for everyone though - Hermes, Prada are up and so is Brunello Cuccinelli. I think the people who are posting these videos are tapping into outrage culture because that is what makes views come rather than adding nuance and the fiscal receipts of everyone not only focusing on the brands that are struggling. I'm not watching anyone moaning and complaining about the same luxury brands that their channels hinge on ☕🐸 and that's OK. Everything is not for everyone. UA-cam is a bubble. People want their biases confirmed yet the actual stores in big cities have customers buying. It doesn't mean it isn't a decline but it's definitely not 2008.
@@hayaglamazonluxe Oh yeah totally, they are hyper focused without reporting the other end, Thats why I expand my content personally and enjoy both reports, which I think is imperative to get a whole perspective. but i see how many people get narrowed focused, confirming in their heads that the whole industry is down which is false...... its certainly not '08🤣
