I don't think she turned it too pop actually. It honestly didn't sound THAT much different from the original. Her voice makes it seem a little more pop. I definitely don't think her voice suits the song that great but she did hit most of the notes especially the high ones pretty dang well. Most people could not sing these song at all.
Angie gave a great dynamic performance. Keith was right though: she didn't feel deeply the lyrics, like she usually does with slower tempo songs. Watch for instance: "Titanium", " You are so beautiful", "Listen" (on You Tube) Angie is in each of those song and each of those songs is in her.Angie and the song are one. Yet, very enjoyable performance: great voice and dynamics.

I am a rock fan and an Evanescence fan, and I didn't like this cover 100% because she turned it pop and basically because it's one of those songs with a unique mark to it. Angie is not "dark" enough, neither in voice nor in personality, to sing this. But still she demonstrated she is very talented and she should win this competition.
Excellent performance Angie. I remember when Underwood first came on, she was like a deer in the headlights with a semi coming. There are good singers on the show, but when it comes to the whole package, Agela has it hands down. I think it was an absolute home run performance!!!
The last dude was spot on. Rock is NOTHING without true feeling. Specially Evanescence.
