drew i have just started at an outpatient facility this week and even though the days are nice i still come home feeling so drained and depressed. watching this video is the first time i've laughed and felt good at home all week. at my outpatient sometimes i feel like i don't "need" to be there or some of the stuff we are learning and doing is trivial and common knowledge. but i suppose it's more about the structure, routine, and practicing of skills that by the end will better help me manage things, or at least pull me up while i collect what i've dropped on my own. i hope this might help put into perspective for you what seeking treatment somewhere might be like. and also there's lots of different options and many that will include change, but change that is easier to cope with. sorry for rambling drew but i feel similarly right now and i want you to know that you don't have to be at a specific point to seek some sort of treatment. it's nice to have a break. i also would love to watch you bake and experiment with cool interesting desserts and foods.

At the movie theatre i worked at we didn’t make any money from the tickets, that revenue went to the movie makers. 100% of my theatre’s revenue was from concessions thus why they’re so expensive!
I can answer the crying yourself to sleep question. I'm a crier, I always have been. If I'm having emotions, I'm crying about it. I've definitely cried so hard for so long about something that I wake up the next day with no recollection of the crying having stopped. That doesn't mean it didn't, it just means my brain had already begun its winding down process before the crying stopped. That 10-ish minute period where you're in-between wakefulness and sleep would be the 11 minutes you were talking about. Some people can remember that time, others can't.

Brian Jordan Alvarez is one of my faves. He puts out so much amazing, diverse content! So talented, skilled, and hilarious.
drew i have just started at an outpatient facility this week and even though the days are nice i still come home feeling so drained and depressed. watching this video is the first time i've laughed and felt good at home all week. at my outpatient sometimes i feel like i don't "need" to be there or some of the stuff we are learning and doing is trivial and common knowledge. but i suppose it's more about the structure, routine, and practicing of skills that by the end will better help me manage things, or at least pull me up while i collect what i've dropped on my own. i hope this might help put into perspective for you what seeking treatment somewhere might be like. and also there's lots of different options and many that will include change, but change that is easier to cope with.
sorry for rambling drew but i feel similarly right now and i want you to know that you don't have to be at a specific point to seek some sort of treatment. it's nice to have a break.
i also would love to watch you bake and experiment with cool interesting desserts and foods.

Drew I just wish you saw how beautiful you are like we see you. I have severe clinical depression acually just got out of the hospital because if it. I constantly put myself down have weeks of deep deep sadness where I cant even get up it gets bad but your videos make me feel less alone and make me laugh even when I'm sad u managed to get a smile out of me when nothing else would. Please know you really do help people and make an impact in many lives man I so wish we could meet and hang out lol

At the movie theatre i worked at we didn’t make any money from the tickets, that revenue went to the movie makers. 100% of my theatre’s revenue was from concessions thus why they’re so expensive!
I can answer the crying yourself to sleep question. I'm a crier, I always have been. If I'm having emotions, I'm crying about it. I've definitely cried so hard for so long about something that I wake up the next day with no recollection of the crying having stopped. That doesn't mean it didn't, it just means my brain had already begun its winding down process before the crying stopped. That 10-ish minute period where you're in-between wakefulness and sleep would be the 11 minutes you were talking about. Some people can remember that time, others can't.
