Worth noting that Bushiroad prints the cards and manages the game, but Cygames is the actual owner and designer of cards and gameplay (and the artworks). Shadowverse is also kinda unique in the way that it started as a digital game which got a physical version released, rather than vice-versa. I hope it becomes at least decently popular in the west. In Japan it's very popular so there is hoping for the best.
Main issue with Shadowverse is that its in direct competition with other similar (anime style art) new tcgs in the west, Battle Spirits & Grand Archive. There may be only room for 1 of the 3 tcgs to survive. In all honestly most anime type tcgs (Pokemon, One Piece, Digimon & Cardfight Vanguard as well) are fighting for the same market space with only Yugioh having its own niche space. I think a lot of people are waiting for 3 sets or so to come out to see the long term viability of Shadowverse. I'm not so sure how many people are switching TCGs but I have noticed reduced demand for the last 3 sets of Cardfight Vanguard. I'm not sure if this is due to One Piece or one of the 3 new games.
My friends at locals realized that the companion app lets you scan the leaders through the starter deck boxes, but I want to say they tested the booster packs and they don't let you scan leaders through the packs. We think that might explain why the boster pack packaging is so much thicker than most booster pack wrappers.
Dang, the art and the foiling look great on camera. I'm assuming it is even better in person. Is the quality control as good as it seems in the video? The cards look really well centered and the foils appear to be very flat and not resembling a Pringle, so those are good signs.

I used to play Shadowverse on my phone. The mobile game has been out for 7-8 years. Plays kinda like Hearthstone. Brings back memories.
For anyone that doesn't know: The parallel foils have a "P" in their set number. (They don't match the regular version's set number.)

Hey Ally, lots of beautiful cards, love this set.
Was hopping to see these available for breaks
You're gonna love the card arts of future sets. Extremely jealous of the premium holo Aurelia. Im still trying to get leader Aurelia.
Leaders are 2 to a case. Very rare and valuable.
Jealous of the Haven Leader pull. Been chasing that card with no luck
I know its only week one of this set but in just two boxes you hit some damn good cards. Our group is going to give the SDs a try.
I went for the Forestcraft. Me and my friends opened 2 packs and I immediately got SL Ancient Elf unevolved. I am confident about my choices.
Very well done! Loving the haircut as well....
That leader card is one of the chase cards in the set so you got mega lucky on the first box!!!
Would love to get evolve vers of Holy Saber, leader and her spell in the future.
Are these for sale now?
Great looking cards!
IMO. checking quality should be on peoples mind. They are supposed to be collectibles. So quality matters.
Ally's cloud ☁️ shirt 👕 is amazing 🤩

Ummm , maybe you should talk react about every pack or smthng it will be interesting to watch
I don't understand why they made leader cards so hard to get. It's damned annoying.
Also, Set 2 [Reign of Bahamut] releases on September 29.
