Beautiful images, my family shot nothing but slide film from about the late 1950s through the 1990s. We must have 300-600 slides. Many of the slides are Kodachrome. Also film that was packaged as motion picture film, I think it must have been some kodak product. The colour pop is amazing. Thanks for sharing.

I love that you say your slides take you back to a time and a place.
I have always thought that, unlike digital images, negatives (and slides) are a true witness, they were actually there, in the camera, at that time, on that date, in that place. It's a very nostalgic feeling when handling a really old negative, it's like handling an antique. Maybe it's just me who is getting old!
It's definitely not just you 🙂 I certainly feel that way and even if I'm an antique I think a lot of people who are still young are starting to understand the magic of it too. Thanks for watching!
That's an interesting setup, the results are really good. So you are not actually scanning the slides but re-photographing them?
I'm photographing the slides as macros with a digital camera...if you want the full story then I've done a few videos about my struggle to revive old negatives and trouble with scanners etc. that you can probably still find on my channel...keywording etc. not my strong suit! 🙂
