Genuinely one of the most unexpected turn of events I've seen in a Corruption mod. We all really expected Insane BF Day 2, but we instead got Chapter 7 Day 1, lmao. Well, I'm not complaining at all, if anything, I like that it's this and not C6D2. Anyways, I think it's time to dissect this episode bit by bit. Starting with the opening cutscene. We see Daddy Dearest's dialogue at the start, he says that they're after HIM in particular, this means hes probably the strongest one remaining. Then we see Lemon Demon talking. I think that thing he's holding at 0:36 is one of those magic balls, he seems to be using it to control those news reporters we see in the next frames, this is very likely because Lemon's text is seen behind the news reporter's text, example: 0:50. This cutscene in general, paired with the music, just builds so much suspense for this Chapter and I LOVE that. 2:27 Well, looks like we continue off from Renegade's puzzle thing. (2:36 this frame is fucking hilarious LMAO, he looks PISSED.) I'm noticing that DD doesn't look fazed at all by the corruption in his losing icon, hell, he even looks more motivated in that icon. Now, speaking of icons, take a look at Pico's losing icon in the song. *It shows him uncorrupting.* Keep in mind, this Pico is the same one that single-handedly recorrupted MM, nearly KILLED Darnell, solo'd a lot of the Tankmen army, survived a tank shell (or dodged), and has the ability to run at the speed of a car. Dearest is strong as fuck. Considering DD pushed Pico's health down to 0 by the end of this episode, Pico's in for it now in the next one. Now to talk about just the episode itself. DD's design here is actually insane. I love how instead of a regular Santa jacket like how MM has, he has a more unique jacket instead. Pico's new design, well more of a new sprite, you get what I mean, looks amazing. Love his new poses, seems like he took some inspiration from Darnell in Renegade with his down pose lmao. Those poses do look smooth as hell tho. The RTX looking sprites at 4:08 though MMMMMMMM that looks awesome. And you cant forget the song, god DAMN the song is good. Yet again another WeegeeDude W like holy shit. Sort of reminds me of Despondency in a way, maybe bc it's from the same musician but idk. The beatboxing section is fire, though. Bravo to the Insanity team, bravo. One of my theories for how this Chapter will go: So, me and some other people noticed that Pico's arm is actually glitching. (3:11) Pico wasn't like this in War or Aftermath. I'm pretty sure Darnell's shot at Pico in Renegade messed him up more than we thought. I _also_ noticed that, just like in Renegade, I'm almost sure that we _can_ hear Spirit. Listen to Pico's long note at 3:55, it kinda sounds like Spirit to me. Either that or it could just be part of the instrumental. ALSO another thing: Take a look at the same arm I said was glitching at 3:19. Notice anything? Well, it actually has a much darker shade than the rest of Pico's body. And if you think it's simply the shading, it's not. The shading color is slightly brighter than Pico's arm. I'm thinking a possibility I can see, is that the glitching takes over Pico completely, making him possibly have more of a resemblance to Glitch Pico, because, well, if the glitching and darker shade is there, then if the glitching was all over him, then he'd probably look more like Glitch Pico. Anyways, this and Pico's glitching makes me think Pico's sheer strength is going to come at a major cost. If we focus on Spirit, he could maybe break free from Pico, and then DD and Spirit (this is if Spirit is even able to exist outside Pico's body) fight Pico together. Or Pico could just simply start losing, but idk. As for DD on the other hand, I feel like this could be some glass cannon type situation. Where DD does major damage on Pico, or whoever else could decide to turn up (after all, it is a stage), but takes a huge amount of damage himself. Now to talk about the other survivors(?) that are in the mod. BF. Let's think of the possibility that BF _does_ actually manage to escape from the corruption. Who would he face? The only two people that are in close proximity to him currently are MM and Tankman, but Tankman is most likely unconscious still. If BF faces MM, then he's screwed. Thats for sure. But what if he faced Tankman? Tankman is freshly corrupted, remember that, so he'd be an easier target for BF. But that's if BF would even encounter anyone. For all we know, he could wake up, all alone, in the middle of the snow, stranded. I guess we will just have to see. And Darnell. We know that Darnell successfully escaped in the limo after Renegade, and if Darnell is still alive when it's literally near the end of this story, then he HAS to have at least some importance in future episodes. Because he has a car now, he could go anywhere much easier. If he manages to find where DD is and start helping, then yippee, more help for DD. I'm actually now thinking, remember how Pico focused way more on MM rather than Darnell in Aftermath? Well, ignoring the possibility of Pico just straight up killing Darnell, if Darnell and DD team up, that same exact thing might happen again. That would mean Darnell wouldn't even have a scratch of corruption on him and he'd still fight like it was nothing. That would be cool to see. But if Darnell was actually smart, he'd go and get himself an army first. How would he do this, you may ask? (im talking to a brick wall at this point) First, Darnell finds Skid & Pump. Due to S&P not facing anyone yet (as far as we know), and not having been uncorrupted and recorrupted yet (except for Pump in Godhood but still), it's an easy target for Darnell. Then, along with S&P, Darnell encounters Nene. If Nene isn't still with GF, then they're fine. If GF is there, they're fucked. Now, considering Nene's injury from Exhaustion, she might not be in the best shape if she got uncorrupted. Not exactly ideal, but we'll go with it. I'm not really sure if 4 people could take down GF or MM, especially for how strong they might be now, so let's just say they all just go straight to DD. Then yippee, Pico outnumbered, Pico dies!!!!!!! (man idk why i keep writing these essays)
The fact that DD had Cpico losing for basically the entire day goes to show how strong DD is. Like I don't even know how one of if not the strongest corrupted (even if they weren't trying) gets bodied that hard when they have shown time and time again they can decimate their opponent, It's insane and I love it, thank you for making DD seem/look very strong. theory: Day 2 is going to introduce more opponents during the 2nd half of the song where the 1st half will be Cpico uncorrupting but still in control of himself, DD will basically continue being the powerhouse that he is and will start getting corrupted by the end of day 2 but still managing to hold on to the lead. I am going to assume there will be 4 days as well.

Incredible episode as always, I personally thought that the next episode would be darnell against pico, so this has blown my mind. Something I noticed is that dd icon doesn't get corrupted but pico's gets uncorrupted when he loses, also the fact that dd knows that gf, bf and mm have fallen changes everything a lot, maybe he won't get as sentimental as in deathmatch when he sees mm or even gf.
daddy dearest unless some powerful person comes along on day 3 or something like with mommy mearest and girlfriend she was winning but nene drove the car away letting her infect nene again and regenerate herself so if its him and i bet he is stronger he should win
the expressiveness in the pico sprites and dd icons are top notch, the music in general slaps in general but the pico vocals are just insert chefs kiss.
So Important things to note: DD has been in hiding for a while Monster has a fedora Monster has hijacked all media Dearest only has a radio and can only listen to Monster Taunt him Dearest now knows that everyone he loves is gone Monster is specifically after Dearest Dearest has nowhere to run or hide and plans on fighting no matter what DD is resistant to bullets even while off guard Pico is going solo at the moment Pico's Spirit Burst (as I am calling it) has worn off. DD is capable of overpowering Pico as he keeps draining Pico's health The wall cracks midway through signifying more guest later on (Likely Nene and Gf) Bf is fighting Insane Bf at the same time That's it for now I think
Also, Pico has a long crack from his eye where sprit resides, to his torso and some of the other parts of the body. This is likely due to being shot by Darnell.
Imagine if this saliva, instead of saliva would be corrupted blood... because maybe doing beatbox it's like coughing for them..- cuz' of the goo over their whole body could have lock the saliva in some way.. making it stay inside the mouth.. Just a lil idea, that would be creepy--
I love how Pico just beatbox along with DD, while he could've got the option to stay on track and sing his own section, but no, my man beatboxes, and he's surprisingly good at it for a corrupted being. Guess he just likes having a bit of fun every now and then. ..or is it a way to taunt DD? That the fight is too easy for him? Cuz he's looking really ecstatic during that beatbox.
@@ungamerrandom8405 Well, this is a theory, but it might be just a facade. We know that after the events of Renegade, Pico's Exorcism will happen on day 2-3. Maybe he'll be using Spirit as a puppet to finally show their true potential. Edit: On a side note, we have seen that type of behavior in other corruption retakes; letting the opponent push the health bar to give them a sense of false hope, then strike them when they least expect it. Edit 2: Didn't that behavior also happen in OG corruption? (Despite not having the health bar being pushed due to the build), Pico's D2, GF's D2, Senpai D3 and D4, and also Daddy Dearest's full week? I don't recall that much, but I think??
DD has finally shown himself, but it's too little too late.....Monster has taken control of everyone and draws Dearest out using Pico. But wait, what happened to Darnell, wasn't Pico Chasing him? Is Darnell ok? Where is he? Will BF be able to break out quickly enough to help Darnell or DD? edit: on a second watch, DD was shot at the back of the head?! Is he going to suffer the reprecussions of that later on or is his skin as hard as diamonds?
darnell escaped bc pico was given orders to go straight for DD. The song renegade made by apparition is canon to insanity and happens straight before this. SO basically darnell is safe and bf chapter 2 is probably next
This is such a great episode, and after all the trolling about DD week we actually got Day 1! So since Pico shows up to take on DD, Darnell successfully escaped after Renegade and is off somewhere else, he might bump into someone else though. Also, now that DD already knows about what happened to his family, this might not hurt him as much when he actually has to face them in the battle later, and who knows, Darnell might join on his side to take on the others. Also damn Pico got a lot of cracks on his body now, I think Darnell caused some damage by hitting that one shot. Also that person on the radio, possibly being Monster, seems to be sure enough of their win, he isnt aware of Darnell escaping and BF possibly breaking free now though. Lets find out what will happen to them in the next episode, that will probably be Chapter 6 again
They got us good, I thought it was going to be Chapter 6 D2, oh well, this was sure amazing still! Not complaining, good work here! The cutscene was interesting, to say the least, and I don't know why, but Possessed Evil Pico appearing was unexpected for a Corruption episode with DD. I love the song, fits for an *Opening Act*! The sprites are beautiful, especially the shaded ones. The icons, effects, overlay and background are great, astonishing work the devs of FNF Corruption Insanity, I'm sure going to wait for D2 of Chapter 7 (Or Chapter 6)!
INSANITY gets better and better DD is gonna have the biggest grudge match of his life. Love the sprites, music, cutscenes, voice acting, just everything about this love it.

Sorry but, I can hear what seems to be spirit like I said in Pico's vocals in dd's vocals too so it's just part of the instrumental, just listen to 3:42 and listen closely to the instrumental and that "spirit" noise is following along with dad and not Pico so ye it's just part of the instrumental, not to mention that Pico's vocals are short so it can get confusing with the instrumental lmao

I have been thinking, and it seems like Pico has been singing nonstop for roughly 2.5 songs before this. I'll probably post a more detailed analysis on this on the next song's preview, but Pico definitely isn't going against Dearest in perfect condition.
So are we any closer to spirit's "haha jk im back" arc yet? Ik fcr kinda did that already but I REALLY REALLY wanna see just how powerful corruption insanity spirit actually is. He created an entire meteor shower in oblivion and managed to not only kick cpico out of the game but also severely injure him with ONE ATTACK! So I really wanna see how op this man is now that he isn't limited by hating simulator(rip senpai you fought well 😞) Anyway here's my expectations, the corruption will get distracted by either bf or dd. If the corrupt focus BF, dd will probably beat cpico resulting in spirit existing again maybe? If they focus dd, he's gonna keep the corruption busy for a while, bf will probably meet up with darnell and they go from there. Really nice work on this episode and i'm so excited to see what's next!

The devs are extremely insistent that this isn't a Spirit Pico situation, but what I think that means is that Spirit isn't actually in control of any of this, and Pico just has a part of his powers due to the lingering essence of the attack when he was booted from the game. Or they're just lying because they're quite prone to doing that, especially if it's for retcons.
Well, he's at least right on a good start by ultimately being the victor of this first song (judging by the HP bar being ENTIRELY in his favour at the end).

Do you know what a Chekhov's gun is? It's a fairly simple narrative procedure; if in a three-act play for example; we show an element (for example a gun) in the first act, it must be used in the second or third act otherwise there is no point in showing it. Here I have the impression that we have a quite literal Chekhov's gun, since we can notice that following Aftermath Pico drops one of his guns when he chases Darnell. Could this gun left behind be used later, because we know that the place where Pico dropped it is also where BF is fainted following the Tank's shot, after all it will depend on s he manages to beat Insanity BF with the help of Soul

This and Corruption Expanded still seem to be going strong. The main issue appears to be how a majority of these mods all seem interconnected. Notice how a lot of the reimagined cast are working with insanity. We also have the newer minus corruption from MathTHX but it feels messy to me.
Yea you basically got my point on the dot, we need more new people trying to help out corruption mods compared to the ones we alr have, and the issues with if someone does something bad like nayadiaUWU, they have to replace every song in that mod which is tedious and is what reimagined had to do

Pretty sure renegade happens right after aftermath cuz pico did chase Darnell to the car in the cutscene when aftermath was over. So after renegade pico just stops chasing Darnell and goes to where DD is
I swear these notifications are failing me cause i never catch these premieres anymore.... Anyways, this is a big suprise to see chapter 7 day 1 instead of chapter 6 day 2 with CPico stepping up to the (almost) last survivor, Daddy Dearest himself, who apparently has been plagued from countless radio transmissions telling him to come out and give up due to everyone he knows and love having fallen. Though it seems DD has quite the lead on CPico in this day, with that whole spirit outburst from renegade, I'm not too certain on a clean victory for DD here in whats to come. But maybe if Darnell gets help (somewhere, i dont know, maybe the eyes?) and BF manages to break out, this could prob lead to a huge turnover for the survivors. But who knows, im just spitballin here anyway. Love the work Ciov07 and the FCI team, keep on cooking!

Incredible episode as always, I personally thought that the next episode would be darnell against pico, so this has blown my mind. Something I noticed is that dd icon doesn't get corrupted but pico's gets uncorrupted when he loses, also the fact that dd knows that gf, bf and mm have fallen changes everything a lot, maybe he won't get as sentimental as in deathmatch when he sees mm or even gf.

the expressiveness in the pico sprites and dd icons are top notch, the music in general slaps in general but the pico vocals are just insert chefs kiss.

Dearest only has a radio and can only listen to Monster Taunt him
Dearest now knows that everyone he loves is gone
Monster is specifically after Dearest
Dearest has nowhere to run or hide and plans on fighting no matter what
DD is resistant to bullets even while off guard
Pico is going solo at the moment
Pico's Spirit Burst (as I am calling it) has worn off.
DD is capable of overpowering Pico as he keeps draining Pico's health
The wall cracks midway through signifying more guest later on (Likely Nene and Gf)
Bf is fighting Insane Bf at the same time

Also, Pico has a long crack from his eye where sprit resides, to his torso and some of the other parts of the body. This is likely due to being shot by Darnell.

I love how Pico just beatbox along with DD, while he could've got the option to stay on track and sing his own section, but no, my man beatboxes, and he's surprisingly good at it for a corrupted being.
Guess he just likes having a bit of fun every now and then.
..or is it a way to taunt DD? That the fight is too easy for him? Cuz he's looking really ecstatic during that beatbox.

@@ungamerrandom8405 Well, this is a theory, but it might be just a facade. We know that after the events of Renegade, Pico's Exorcism will happen on day 2-3. Maybe he'll be using Spirit as a puppet to finally show their true potential.
Edit: On a side note, we have seen that type of behavior in other corruption retakes; letting the opponent push the health bar to give them a sense of false hope, then strike them when they least expect it.
Edit 2: Didn't that behavior also happen in OG corruption? (Despite not having the health bar being pushed due to the build), Pico's D2, GF's D2, Senpai D3 and D4, and also Daddy Dearest's full week? I don't recall that much, but I think??
DD has finally shown himself, but it's too little too late.....Monster has taken control of everyone and draws Dearest out using Pico. But wait, what happened to Darnell, wasn't Pico Chasing him? Is Darnell ok? Where is he? Will BF be able to break out quickly enough to help Darnell or DD?
edit: on a second watch, DD was shot at the back of the head?! Is he going to suffer the reprecussions of that later on or is his skin as hard as diamonds?
darnell escaped bc pico was given orders to go straight for DD. The song renegade made by apparition is canon to insanity and happens straight before this. SO basically darnell is safe and bf chapter 2 is probably next

This is such a great episode, and after all the trolling about DD week we actually got Day 1! So since Pico shows up to take on DD, Darnell successfully escaped after Renegade and is off somewhere else, he might bump into someone else though. Also, now that DD already knows about what happened to his family, this might not hurt him as much when he actually has to face them in the battle later, and who knows, Darnell might join on his side to take on the others. Also damn Pico got a lot of cracks on his body now, I think Darnell caused some damage by hitting that one shot. Also that person on the radio, possibly being Monster, seems to be sure enough of their win, he isnt aware of Darnell escaping and BF possibly breaking free now though. Lets find out what will happen to them in the next episode, that will probably be Chapter 6 again

They got us good, I thought it was going to be Chapter 6 D2, oh well, this was sure amazing still! Not complaining, good work here! The cutscene was interesting, to say the least, and I don't know why, but Possessed Evil Pico appearing was unexpected for a Corruption episode with DD. I love the song, fits for an *Opening Act*! The sprites are beautiful, especially the shaded ones. The icons, effects, overlay and background are great, astonishing work the devs of FNF Corruption Insanity, I'm sure going to wait for D2 of Chapter 7 (Or Chapter 6)!

Sorry but, I can hear what seems to be spirit like I said in Pico's vocals in dd's vocals too so it's just part of the instrumental, just listen to 3:42 and listen closely to the instrumental and that "spirit" noise is following along with dad and not Pico so ye it's just part of the instrumental, not to mention that Pico's vocals are short so it can get confusing with the instrumental lmao

I have been thinking, and it seems like Pico has been singing nonstop for roughly 2.5 songs before this. I'll probably post a more detailed analysis on this on the next song's preview, but Pico definitely isn't going against Dearest in perfect condition.

So are we any closer to spirit's "haha jk im back" arc yet? Ik fcr kinda did that already but I REALLY REALLY wanna see just how powerful corruption insanity spirit actually is. He created an entire meteor shower in oblivion and managed to not only kick cpico out of the game but also severely injure him with ONE ATTACK! So I really wanna see how op this man is now that he isn't limited by hating simulator(rip senpai you fought well 😞)
Anyway here's my expectations, the corruption will get distracted by either bf or dd. If the corrupt focus BF, dd will probably beat cpico resulting in spirit existing again maybe? If they focus dd, he's gonna keep the corruption busy for a while, bf will probably meet up with darnell and they go from there. Really nice work on this episode and i'm so excited to see what's next!

@@rihcdar+ the renegade song (yeah it’s a thing if you didn’t know just in case,) and last time I checked, Pico isn’t supposed to have that little eye glow.
The devs are extremely insistent that this isn't a Spirit Pico situation, but what I think that means is that Spirit isn't actually in control of any of this, and Pico just has a part of his powers due to the lingering essence of the attack when he was booted from the game.
Or they're just lying because they're quite prone to doing that, especially if it's for retcons.

It's a fairly simple narrative procedure; if in a three-act play for example; we show an element (for example a gun) in the first act, it must be used in the second or third act otherwise there is no point in showing it.
Here I have the impression that we have a quite literal Chekhov's gun, since we can notice that following Aftermath Pico drops one of his guns when he chases Darnell.
Could this gun left behind be used later, because we know that the place where Pico dropped it is also where BF is fainted following the Tank's shot, after all it will depend on s he manages to beat Insanity BF with the help of Soul

I just realized, Dearest using the light is such a smart because the Corruption doesn't like the light. Usually like all dark abominations, they prefer to be alone in the dark while they avoid the light (like vampires avoiding sunlight)

Takeover? - On pause and hasn’t released an episode in almost a year
Minus - Got cancelled cuz creator got demotivated
HD? - Got cancelled due the original dev of the hd mod doing bad things and the creator of the corruption mod not wanting to associate with it anymore

The main issue appears to be how a majority of these mods all seem interconnected. Notice how a lot of the reimagined cast are working with insanity.
We also have the newer minus corruption from MathTHX but it feels messy to me.
Yea you basically got my point on the dot, we need more new people trying to help out corruption mods compared to the ones we alr have, and the issues with if someone does something bad like nayadiaUWU, they have to replace every song in that mod which is tedious and is what reimagined had to do

I swear these notifications are failing me cause i never catch these premieres anymore....
Anyways, this is a big suprise to see chapter 7 day 1 instead of chapter 6 day 2 with CPico stepping up to the (almost) last survivor, Daddy Dearest himself, who apparently has been plagued from countless radio transmissions telling him to come out and give up due to everyone he knows and love having fallen. Though it seems DD has quite the lead on CPico in this day, with that whole spirit outburst from renegade, I'm not too certain on a clean victory for DD here in whats to come. But maybe if Darnell gets help (somewhere, i dont know, maybe the eyes?) and BF manages to break out, this could prob lead to a huge turnover for the survivors.
But who knows, im just spitballin here anyway. Love the work Ciov07 and the FCI team, keep on cooking!
