I love this song. My sister works at Chick a fil a, and I bet she would love this song. You people who don't like this song are crazy. By the way, how do you know The Lord is scared of clowns?
I used to eat there all the time. They used to only be in malls dating back to before all mall restaurants were consolidated into food-courts. C/F/A and Orange Julius (especially with an egg whipped up into the drink) were great. C/F/A's Char-Grille was DA BOMB...but I'm not going pay them to turn around and donate part of my money to anti-equality lobbies. Calling themselves Christian, but then making an issue of something you won't find Jesus Christ saying anything about anywhere in the Bible is just an excuse to fund hate.
Well-produced song. The steel guitar is just right, not too overwhelming. Some Country/Western producers love to ramp up that pedal steel so high, you'd think you were listening to Hawaiian music, LOL. I miss C/F/A's food, but they take the money you spend and donate a portion of it to groups that promote discrimination. That's not the America the Founding Fathers envisioned. You're not supposed to let religious views affect secular public policy. On the other hand, C/F/A is flushing away a fortune. Their CEO's reputation as a person who holds religious beliefs would make them the after-church Sunday dinner go-to for countless Conservative families. They could make as much money on a Sunday as they do the first half of the Mon-Sat business week. I bet they don't even realize how many secular party animals they hire away from the other fast food places. Having every Sunday off guaranteed means at least half the teens and 20-somethings working for them are getting LOADED every Saturday knowing they've got at least until Monday to sleep it off. If they think gays are sinning, they should stop donating to hate-lobbies and be more like the Jesus I read about in the Bible who said, "Let he who is without sin cast the first stone". Jesus didn't say anything about gays, but He sure as heck condemned straights for getting divorced.
