We all do it while talking to someone on the phone or during a meeting. We all pay no attention to what’s going on. Just kidding. We all doodle. It turns out those little masterpieces are more than a product of unconscious drawing. They can actually tell a lot about their creator’s personality.
First of all, it is important to note that not only what you draw tells a lot about you, but also where you do it.
If your doodles occupy most of the page, it means you are a nature-lover and not exactly an outgoing person, but you want communication in reasonable amounts.
Little doodles in the corner of the page indicate that their author likes order and discipline. The same is true for those who use the margin area as their canvas. They like it when everything is in its place.
What if your doodles are right in the middle of that paper which was supposed to be for work? You are an extrovert seeking the attention of others. We can even guess your job: you must be a lawyer, a teacher or an official. Did we guess it right? Comment in the section below if it is true for you. Your job puts you in the limelight, but sometimes you would not mind some extra personal space.
Are your doodles spread on top of the page? You must be a self-confident person with many ideas for the future.
Most people tend to doodle on the left side of the page. It means the person has some sweet nostalgic memories of the good old days.
Doodling on the right side is not that common. Left-handers do it for obvious natural reasons. As for right-handers who do that - it most likely shows they have an urge to express themselves or share some deep personal thoughts.

When I doodle, I draw random shapes then I turn them into something, usually not planning ahead and just seeing what I can make.

Back in highschool I was always drawing angry characters (comic books, dbz styles) at the end of my notes and my religion teacher asked me why I am drawing these angry evil faces? I told him that just because they are angry and look evil, doesn't mean they are the bad guys. Good guys can have bad days too. He had no comeback to that.

When I doodle I usually draw my stickman characters, a cow in a grassy field, Fnaf animatronic heads, of my pet cockteil McGraw. Sometimes I’ll draw random lines, shapes, or squiggles and make something from that...

Most my faces / eyes I draw are demonic and ethier angry / depressed or suffering / crying.
I always doodle spirals when testing to see if my pen is functioning properly, but never thought about doodles.

I Interpret this as you are a person who sees beyond what people present themselves to be. You know that everything isn't always as it seems. People who look and act nice aren't always so, just as those who look questionable aren't at all and would give the shirt off their back. Perhaps you personally feel this type of misunderstanding towards you? The characters with sad back stories, it may not be as dark as it sounds. Maybe these sad people are ones are representative of your desire to help those who have depression/mental health issues, you empathize, perhaps.
I would hazard a guess, what you put down on paper is what fills your heart.

I think it means you might need help. Although that would probably mean I do too, because I LOVE drawing terrifying pictures. Not exactly that, but more like dead, rotting people, and evil, messed up creatures. I also love drawing cute adorable stuff like cats and puppies...and anime.

That is really accurate tbh, I'm glad you added the spirals and the circles cuz that's basically invading my papers atm. And yeah, I'm really an introvert and had no friends for a long while, gladly I have some now. For years I've been doodling a spiral and from it, a flower with its stem and leaves. I've always wondered what it could mean.

Styles are just styles, and I often switch between them to keep things fresh.
Plus, I see them less as doodles, and more as little sketches, as I put a little more thought and effort into them; adding shading; mixing up styles; drawing the same face with different expressions; drawing little people; decorating the header on important assignments, when I've finished them to make them feel a little more fun.
It's all just fun and games...

This actually really accurate. I draw spirals, happy people, flowers, and weirdly dogs. I sometimes draw zigzags and 3D shapes though. I'm really happy because most of the stuff I draw isn't bad.
