I’m joined by Dr. Camran Nezhat on the Egg Whisperer Show today. Dr. Nezhat is world renowned for his work in minimally invasive and robotic surgery, and he specializes in treating people with endometriosis. He is best known for inventing video-assisted endoscopy and was the first to perform groundbreaking advances in minimally invasive surgical procedures that have helped millions of patients around the globe. Without his contributions, we would not have video-assisted laparoscopy as we know it. To say that it's an honor to have him on the show is an understatement!
In 2020, Dr. Nezhat was chosen by the AMA as an exceptional innovator whose contributions have revolutionized modern day surgery, and for that work he received the Distinguished Service Award for meritorious service in the science and art of medicine. He's joining me today to talk about endometriosis, its treatment, and the role that minimally invasive surgery plays in assisting patients.

A very very important thing to talk about to patients before surgery is ovarian reserve! I feel like it was only glossed over with me. No one really suggested strongly to check amh before surgery. Now I’m struggling with DOR, and possibly even POF at 30. My amh is extremely low, and I’m struggling to conceive. The surgery took out a big part of my ovarian tissue and shortened my cycle. I actually had surgery with this specific surgeon Dr Nezhat!
An important point. I think it should be part of the pre op paperwork to get levels checked! I am certainly biased 💗

Did you do surgery with Dr. Nezhat? Could you conceive right after the surgery? When did you do the surgery?
Omg I never knew so many things about Endo. This man knows so much not only clinically but the history and the sociology of it also. Absolutely loved listening to him ❤️ ♥️

Hi Dr Aimee! I am 36, ttc since 2 years.regular periods and have 24 to 27 days cycle. my tushy is all ok. My doctor prescribed clomid for 3 months . first two months no benefit but at 3rd month I got my periods on day 29 and that was only for two days and very little amount which unusual but at 8 th day of my cycle I got heavy bleeding which is also unusual and it lasts till 22nd day of my cycle. I got a big clot on day 13. I got to my doctor at 11th day she did TVS but she said everything is normal she prescribed duphaston for 14 days. I took that. Can you please tell me was that early misscariage ? Did I conceive with clomid? Should I again tried clomid or now try letrozole? What should I do now? Please reply I am waiting thanks

Hello Dr, i m doing ivf but when Dr gave me cetratide medicine with gonal F and manopour my body didn't react on it like Dr said my follicles didn't big much also estrodile is not higher as we expect , what's the problem with that ? Is there anything wrong or should we skip cetratide and use another medicine? Please suggest.. AmH is 3.15, my age is 28
