- The Rock School and the Haverford School have a student exchange for a day twice a year. This video features part I of our exchange when the Haverford School boys learn what it takes to be a ballet dancer.
1:21 can we just appreciate the guy in the blue shorts 😂
Llama The Otaku Such grace!
I’ve never laughed that hard. Thank you for calling attention to this
I love that the boy in the centre at 2:06 is focused and doesn’t take his eyes off her once! My favourite part of “male athletes try ballet” videos is when they don’t goof off and actually respect what they’re doing.
While this looks stupid there's actually a hidden method here. What this school is most likely hoping for is that at least one of the boys was intrigued by dance and will take classes. This was exactly how I got involved with ballet.
Can we talk about the guy at 2:00... professionals vs me
If you're as cute as that amateur is, you should be very happy.
The guy at 2:51 cracks me up i can't stop watching that part 😂😂
The guy in the short blue pants looked so confused 😂
2:03 I love this guy with the glasses 😂
hes like “close enough?”
I sincerely hope my class does this.
At first I thought the title said Harvard😂😂😂
Vivian Tang I thought it said that too
Wow just realized it isn't
Same
every guy should do ballet class once in a lifetime, at least! So difficult and so pleasurable
Damnnn I want the guys in my school to go through this
I love how game the boys are.
Why is this so funny to watch lol
Luis Wilhite Probably because there is a perception that ballet doesn't really require much skill and that "anyone can do it" in reality it's a grueling "sport" that requires 6-8 hours of practice every day, with no "off season" and the use of muscles almost no other profession demands of the human body
Luis Wilhite because we know that some have troubles and we like to see them suffer 😆😆
This is incredibly entertaining:D it would be so much fun to do something like that too!
Guy @2:51 knew he can't do it and said "f*uck it I will my thing" :D
Even though i do ballet,i am not very flexible. After watching this video,i dont feel so bad about myself. You never realise how good you are at something until someone does it worse than you😅
any other people couldn't stop cringing?
Wow wish the boys from our school could try this...
It's so funny watching boys trying ballet
1:50 lol
Adorable!
how come they can’t do this with my school?
ღ grace ღ same x
I wanna be there !!!
I like ballet very much. I am 12 years old and I am slim and tall. I'm not very flexible. I want someone to answer me if I can start ballet now.
2:07 how can they stand on there tows like that I tried doing that a lot and it hurts so much
Carissa Romero were not standing on the knuckles of our feet. We are actually on the very tops of the toes. We have the pointe shoes, which gives some support for our feet and we also use a pad that covers our toes to help it not hurt so bad.
Morgan Cloutier I know I forgot what they were called
Carissa Romero we wear special shoes called Pointe shoes. Ballerinas have years of training before they are able to use/wear them and " Dance on their toes " I would not recommend trying it bc you could hurt your toes/ankles.
Carissa Romero you get used to it after a while
they are wearing pointe shoes.
Those boys aren' t so flexible.
Lol!!!! So funny
Hahahaha i watt be this class !!!!
When your a dancer and cringe at the elbows and sickled feet
I wasn't cringing until they did bar work 😥
2:59
I am cringing at all the unpointed toes
Lol
Если эти девушки балерины , то они не очень
Their arms are a bit droopy and aren't shaped. Their timing is incorrect too.
I assume they haven't taken hardly any ballet, and if they had it didn't show. It was also a rather large class with many beginners so correcting everything would be pretty tedious and take up too much time. It was most likely a one off thing used to maybe get a boy into ballet or to build strength if they're on a sports team. I do not understand why you have such high expectations for their technique I suppose.
@@midnightrally357 I meant the actual ballerinas.
@@mingimyprincess ohhhhhhhh, that makes much more sense. Nevermind then.
Is this supposed to be funny or pathetic?
