這首歌的音樂，出自一首英國很出名的歌“Jerusalem", 這首歌耳熟能詳, 差不多成了另一首英國國歌。Graham Kendrick 根據這個調，用以弗所書6章10-20節來譜詞。第一次是在CVM The Gathering 2014首演，其後在BBC Chariots of Fire 音樂會演出。
