I absolutely love Levin’s candenzas! They bring originality to the concerto!
AMAZING cadenza for the last movement.
When one's heard it played like this, there's no way back.
best seat in the house just behind Mozart ... what a treat
11:03 is the FIRE cadenza
AHH that ending gets me every time, it’s like Mozart breaking the 4th wall saying “everything is gonna be okay”, and you can tell by the laughter that Levin animated that intent (there’s another video where you can see him do this)
Please tell me where is the video if possible.

I like that interesting "twang" on the forte base notes. Very interesting texturally.
Thank you. A delight.
Also I’m assuming that picture of him is an homage to the Lange portrait
I. Allegro 00:00II. Romance 13:09III. Allegro assai 21:36
fast movement cadenzas: 10:59 (mvt 1); 24:03 and 27:02 (mvt 3)
Superb
Lovely.
the cadenza is awesome, Beethoven's was good too but I've heard it too many times
Excuse me sir but Beethoven's compared to these are abominations. Levin's cadenzas are the only ones I can call operatic without a cringe.
Fantástico.
