Hey Amber, this video just popped up in my feed. Don't know why now :) But I guess a lot of people will watch it also in future! I'm a current Business Management student :) I really like that video.. it expresses our Uni very much ;) I just would to add two things: 1. The Student Union's biggest "task" is giving students a voice! For example, now during the crisis (Corona), they fighted for relaxed extenuating circumstances (that you can submit your assessments later than the due date with less proof of its need), the no-detriment policy (that the student's mark are not negatively affected due to the crisis), but also a lot of things during "normal times"... However, you're absolutely right.. They also offer you a lot of leisure activities to build a nice, strong community and to find friends or hanging out with them (e.g. lower deck as you showed) :) The second thing, I'd like to add is especially interesting for germans, I guess (don't know how it is in other countries) :) Next to the mentioned facts, that they are extremely passionate and are HONESTLY happy to help you out if you show effort, they are also very informal :) For me personally compared to germany, at Greenwich Uni it feels like the teachers are kind of my "friends" who teach me something.. It's hard to explain what I mean exactly, but basically it offers you a environment where you don't feel like on the bottom of the hierarchy.. You feel as a part of a team, if that makes sense :) It helps me a lot and I'm much more motivated ;) Nice video, I guess it will give a lot of people a nice impression of the Uni ;)

I lived in AH for two years. They made it in 2019, I believe, so that 8 to 9 there were 3 of them to GRE, then 2 per hour until 18 or smthng. Also going to AH, the bus stops in Eltham, which is nice.
@@ambergtaylor though for a free bus 30 min interval seems very reasonable, and it's often if not always quicker than taking 286 8-18 (oh, yeah, there is that option too)

Hey amber , I am from Nepal and planning to study Masters in Data science in Greenwich or Manchester metropolitan University and the main concern about Studying in Greenwich is that , can we earn enough money doing part time to cover up our expenses in London ?
Hi! The average part time wage in London is about £8 an hour so it’s not really enough to cover all your university expenses but can definitely help towards it! X

Hi, thanks so much for watching! I was 18 when I joined the uog and so were the majority of my flat mates and class mates so I definitely don’t think it’s an older university! I will say the night life in Greenwich itself isn’t huge but there are so many clubs and bars in London, there is something on practically every night, it might just take a tube ride to get there! I don’t think you have anything to worry about 😊
I would like to join the College for Msc foodinovation course. What about your opinion. Can I achieve a good job after completing this course. What about the placement department in the College?

Regards the windows it is the same in Avery Hill halls. And Avery Hill bus is about every 30 mins.

We get 1 month for Christmas, 1 month for Easter and then 2-4 months for summer depending on your course ☺️
