Ancient Greeks, Romans, Arabs and Malays all established colonies on the African continent, some of which endured centuries. In popular parlance, discussions of colonialism in Africa usually focus on the European conquests of the New Imperialism and the Scramble for Africa (1884-1914) era, followed by gradual decolonisation after World War II. The South African people should demand the government to put in place a legislation that enforces real land reform. Expropriation without compensation. That is the only way.
A major problem with that idea; white people control the majority of the economy of South African and are supported by Europe and U.S.A, and the current government of South Africa are not will to face the consequences from white people if implement Expropriation without compensation policy

Lesson: Black South Africans do own the land. Unfortunately not all of it but in province like Limpopo people grew up with food from their own land Farms and larger scale gardens. I’d like to believe the same thing in other provinces like Eastern Cape and KwaZulu Natal. However, we do need to acquire more land and ensure it’s productive.
Yes same on Eastern Cape, but history land was communal and was for consumption for the households. So people are still stuck in that mentality. They keep high amounts of cattle but but not for selling. So if we can't start using those resources commercially it will change the status quo.
There we go again.....all these African Countries own their lands, why are they in South Africa. PLEASE stop the propaganda agenda about South Africa, you are no different than the western Media. Shame on you. why don't you do the same with your own and other African countries? Stop with this "African to the world BS" Just tell the people the truth, you are just looking for money.
“The land does not belong to our people.” So South Africans that own farms (traditionally boers) are not ‘your people’? I love your videos that show better sides of Africa but sometimes the exclusion of non-black Africans (like the boers that have been there for longer than some black tribes) feels like you don’t welcome non-black people in Africa. Btw, its also really difficult for most white South Africans to buy a farm. It’s only the few lucky ones that have inherited one. They happen to be mostly boers because of SA’s complicated and long history for which we can’t blame them as you can’t choose your parents. As a side note, if you were born in Europe for example and didn’t inherit, it’s even more impossible to ever buy a farm. The riches in natural resources across Africa are never exploited by foreigners alone. It’s mostly in combination with or solely by a corrupt mostly black elite. It’s the government that is not introducing enough financial help for farming. Most people in the comments got that right though.
Farming is very important everywhere . Even owning a small garden behind the house .

The Nobel Prize winner and civil rights advocate is remembered for his stance against discrimination, both in his native Germany and in the United States. In a speech at Lincoln University in 1946-the first US institution to grant degrees to African-Americans-he famously stated that racism was a “disease of white people.”
The history of external colonisation of Africa can be dated back from ancient, medieval, or modern history, depending on how the term colonisation is defined.
The principal powers involved in the modern colonisation of Africa are Britain, France, Germany, Portugal, Spain and Italy. In nearly all African countries today, the language used in government and media is the one imposed by a recent colonial power, though most people speak their native African languages.
MATTHEW 7:21-27KJV - Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: and the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock. And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: and the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.
I am also a South African and watch a lot of your videos, thank you for the beautiful content.
Farming has been man's first occupation and it remains very relevant up till date. This man ,Zuma is knowledgeable and passionate about his career as a farmer. I pray he benefits maximally from his toils and bequeath everything to his children one day according to his dream.. Wode Maya, thanks once again for this content.
The host is really a good interviewer.... A much needed channel for Africans!
Such a smart man with a big heart! Great video
Yet another informative session with Wode Maya. Me da ase My Brother
He is so well spoken, this man. I could listen to him all day long.
South Africans have good command of English& quite multilingual , that’s what I’ve noticed
@@mimitamimi546 Thank you so much
Stealing is a big problem in our African societies this guy has good strategy.
Wow its like iam in lecture room of Agriculture science. The gentleman is a good narrator and very friendly. Agriculture is key to every nation. We're learning everyday Kudos 🔥
We've always had "lecture rooms" in Africa, before the colonisers came. We had our ancestors as scientists lecturing under trees, gardens, etc. We later ignored them unfortunately, paying attention to colonial "education" instead.
I’m proud to be a South African who’s also pursuing farming
Hotep África. It's à pleasure 4 me to be on this Chanel. In Haiti 🇭🇹the first Black country that's has gain his independance en 1804, now has the same kind of problem as sorth África. The People don't have land🤦🏿♂️😢

Africa for the Africans !
South Africa for south Africans white, black and coloreds 🇿🇦♥️
@@isazenny2350 No one says that about Europe. As a matter of fact they're kicking Africans out. You have whites in Africa building cities or towns like Orania where Blacks aren't allowed. Africa should be only for indigenous Africans. Blacks!
@@isazenny2350 if thats the case how come blacks are at the bottom?
@@Mo91100 Just because they don't show you, doesn't mean black people are poor in south Africa.
Not all white people are rich.
I know white people who clean houses in south Africa.
I know white people who clean other people garden including cleaning black people garden.
I know coloured people who clean white people's houses.
@@isazenny2350 White supremacy runs South Africa. of course not all white are rich but as a group they're the most economically powerful group in SA and they're only 8-10% of the population. Im sick and tired of people like you who choose not to see the reality because it hurts. the only way to change is to admit that you're losing. Blacks are the majority but they're at the bottom. That tells me sth is wrong. And the unequal distribution of the resources play a major part in that. Don't be fooled by the few blacks living in nice neighborhoods that doesn't mean a damn thing when you take the group into consideration.
Black SouthAfricans they own a lot of big land .but many in the Villages
Man is extremely knowledgeable! Hope to see him succeed!
Great vlog today he has a very impressive farm love the ducks
People in Rural areas own land... But they are mostly subsistence farmers... People can ask for land in their native land (provinces) from the village chiefs.
That’s what I thought as a South African
It's pity the land we use to Plough is laying fallow for years now because no one wants to be dirty that is where poverty started in rural areas there is a lot of unused land before we disturb commercial farmers who has been feeding the nation for years let's use the land we have in rural areas when it's used up then we can talk about the land reform it's very painful to see the farm that used to produce under white farmer once it's given to blacks to run its failed completely I have witnessed that.
@@BuhlebzNetwork Exactly bruh that's why Zimbabwe failed.... We need skilled people to properly farm those lands... Unfortunately i think it'll take many many yrs even a hundred before we achieve the same efficiency like the white man
@@seandlamini5780 There are no commercial farming opportunities in rural traditional authorities's own land because it is Communally owned.
Give individuals free hold plots of land (even small ones) with title deeds...virtually all such land is commercially exploited for revenue.
@@seandlamini5780 hi am from Kenya and I understand what you are saying commercial farming is expensive and the black people don't have the luxury of credit I think subsistence farming should be encouraged where we all produce the same things but in small quantities then we sell as a cooperative that is how the cooperative bank of Kenya came about please study farming in central Kenya we don't have huge farms but we are self sustaining
Thanks Wode, I'm in love with farming great content Mr Zuma thank you so much.
This is sucha big farm and the ducks walking gave it so much colour, indeed so many farm produce like veggies to take to the market for consumers. He is indeed doing a great job.

Well done continue to encourage more Black African people to buy and own land to do mechanise farming business because it feeds the nation , make you productive to your community and enrich you financially…Awesome role model bro .👍👏
Great interview. This man is very smart.
That Farmer guy is of sound mind ...peace and blessings upon him , respect from Zim 🇿🇼 .
The land.... they should try and encourage more of the youth to go into agriculture
Encouragement is not sufficient .It has to be taught in schools ,at home etc.or the future generations will starve. Why do you think the other nations do it .It is to maintain their future generations to come .You have to do the same .🤔🤷
Go to Free State, North West and Limpopo where Black people own big farms, they produce at big scale.
Nice
Everywhere in people are farming is big scale. This is only around Durban . If you go around Zululand you find them

All the African people have got to take back their ancestral land so that they can leave a blessing to their children and children's children just as GOD declared.
The South African people should demand the government to put in place a legislation that enforces real land reform. Expropriation without compensation. That is the only way.
That in unlikely to work. South Africans have learnt from Zimbabwe that it doesn't work.
A major problem with that idea; white people control the majority of the economy of South African and are supported by Europe and U.S.A, and the current government of South Africa are not will to face the consequences from white people if implement Expropriation without compensation policy

Your interviewee is a rare gem 💎
Lesson: Black South Africans do own the land.
Unfortunately not all of it but in province like Limpopo people grew up with food from their own land Farms and larger scale gardens. I’d like to believe the same thing in other provinces like Eastern Cape and KwaZulu Natal. However, we do need to acquire more land and ensure it’s productive.
I need to visit Limpopo on my next SA visit. I went to Kruger National Park but from Mpumalanga
@@mimitamimi546 You should! It’s one of the fruitful province in the country.

My brother I told you in your last video that blacks do not own the land in this great nation
We watch your videos Wode Maya. We are blessed that you were able to visit our country South Africa again
“The land does not belong to our people.”
So South Africans that own farms (traditionally boers) are not ‘your people’?

I appreciate what your doing for your country, your a blessing from God continue doing the good work . Love you ps .Beverly
