Go inside the house of the dragon at Melbourne Zoo!

The rediscovery of the Victorian Grassland Earless Dragon in January 2023 prompted several immediate actions to ensure the survival of this precious and rare species. Melbourne Zoo reptile keepers were quickly mobilised.
The elusive species was brought to Melbourne Zoo to a bio-secure breeding centre where the discovered dragons - now called founders - have been brought to establish a conservation breeding program. dang it! I was there a few days ago but i skipped keeper kids because i didn't think there were any animals there! ill check it out next time i guess.
