As a believer. I definitely believe his story! Before I came to Christ, I became pregnant snd lost 3 children. so i've seen a few interviews with colton and his father todd. in each interview the interviewer concentrates his attention and questions to the father when the boy who had the experience is RIGHT THERE! drives me nuts. what do they have to loose by going straight to the source, colton, rather that taking about colton's experience through his father. it just seems weird, maybe even a bit suspicious. seriously, why do the interviewers do this? the boy appears to be at least 14 or 15 so what's the problem??

As I said, it’s most likely this 4 year old son of a pastor had a near death experience and had a vague delusion (as many people do) about Heaven, which his parents fully entertained and helped him fill in the holes completely, and then proceeded to tour the country selling a book, taking advantage of their son, Christianity and those who follow it to make money. Because Jesus was famous for profiting from his knowledge..? It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle...

Some things aren't accessible by a strict scientific method but I research them as best I can before coming to any conclusions. I do my best to let facts or highly researched phenomena that aren't really open to the scientific method guide my beliefs. Being open to allowing new information to adjust my worldview is painful but I believe the results are worth it, especially since I believe that the truth sets me free. That is, the more accurate my worldview, the more accurately I can see myself and others, and all that is. It is the road less traveled, and it's the only path for me. I'm not sure what else to say.

I believe this story because Jesus in the Beatitudes says that the pure in heart will see God. The most pure are children at such a tender age. He was only 3. And boys mature about two years slower than girls even. Also, Christ in the Bible says that let the children come to Me and do not hinder them for to them belongs the Kingdom of Heaven. Even though he did not die, he had a vision. Many holy men have had visions. As St. Paul related his vision, he did not know in the body or out, as he wrote, but he did see Heaven. But so he would not be elated, he was suffering. Even though he prayed for the suffering to leave him, God told him that His grace was perfected in weakness. Glory be to God for all things. In Heaven there is no pain, sorrow or suffering.

I believe in heaven but how could he possibly remember all of that happening at age three and so many years later? I have one memory at age three and that's when my mom and dad walked into our home with my new baby sister. It just seems like they continue to add to the story but I'm not trying to doubt them...just curious.
I never really knew my mother, because she died when I was very young. I have always wondered... Will I recognize her when I get to heaven? And will she recognize me? This bothers me because I've read that the Bible says in Isaiah that “in heaven, we won't remember the former things.” In Isaiah 65:17: “Behold, I will create new heavens and a new earth. The former things will not be remembered, nor will they come to mind.” In 2 Samuel 12:23 it reads in heaven your mother will recognize you, and you will recognize her-even if you never knew each other on earth. When King David’s infant son died, David declared, “I will go to him” So Isaiah 65:17 has nothing to do with whether or not we will be reunited with our loved ones in heaven if we know Christ. Instead, it gives us a great promise: Someday all the sins. More than that, God has promised that in heaven nothing-even the memory of this world’s sin and pain-will cast a shadow over the joy He has in store for us there. and pains and failures of this world will be over, and we will be with Christ forever. Think about that for a moment. In this world, even the memory of what someone did to us years ago can still cause us pain. But that won’t be true in heaven, because our focus won’t be on the past but on Christ and what He means to us.
Psalm 23:4 reminds us to fear no evil, though they walk through the valley of the shadow of death. It's a reminder that those in Heaven have eternal life, which is a comfort to us who are left behind.

Christians sometimes believe they go to heaven just because they are Christians. NO.We have to Love the Lord Jesus,accept Him as our Saviour and thank Him for saving our souls and giving us Salvation.

Colton seems like he is reciting something. I don't mind his story being true, honestly, I came here fully intent to believe him and his father - but this kid is so obviously acting, I had to stop this twenty minutes in. It's like watching Tom Cruise doing his constructed interviewy, with all the calculated pauses and puns thrown in as well, for good meassure. Again - not saying heaven or god do not exist, because most of the times I believe it does, but this kid is lying. Colton has grown up to be such a dignified young man. His Father, Todd must be so proud. He has raised him well. 😊
so i've seen a few interviews with colton and his father todd. in each interview the interviewer concentrates his attention and questions to the father when the boy who had the experience is RIGHT THERE! drives me nuts. what do they have to loose by going straight to the source, colton, rather that taking about colton's experience through his father. it just seems weird, maybe even a bit suspicious. seriously, why do the interviewers do this? the boy appears to be at least 14 or 15 so what's the problem??
..... yeah, the father appears to have no conscience about what he is doing......the interviews seem to all be about the father's response toward the event..... the son is abnormally subdued/compliant ...... something wrong with this picture.
Maybe they’re all lying and being disingenuous about a boy’s obvious delusional response to being in a life threatening situation and traumatic surgery at the age of 4. Children at that age are hardly developed enough to form memories, and hallucinations during a loss of the concept of reality immediately after experiences like this are common.
But what else can you expect from people who are literally profiting off of the likeness of Heaven...

What was her personality like? How does she know about Earth? Was she taught, or made to know? What about other people? Did you meet only religious figures and relatives? What about politically significant historical ones? Is everyone equal in Heaven? What clothes do people wear? How are objects in Heaven procured? Is there a society? How does it work?
These are the kinds of questions which are actually important to understanding Heaven. Instead most questions boil down to what the physical appearance of Heaven looks like. And USUALLY it’s asked on a set so they can advertise their book. As I said, it’s most likely this 4 year old son of a pastor had a near death experience and had a vague delusion (as many people do) about Heaven, which his parents fully entertained and helped him fill in the holes completely, and then proceeded to tour the country selling a book, taking advantage of their son, Christianity and those who follow it to make money. Because Jesus was famous for profiting from his knowledge..?

@@f-35alightningii79 I guess the bottom line for me is that don't start with beliefs, I try to start with the scientific method and let that inform my beliefs. Some things aren't accessible by a strict scientific method but I research them as best I can before coming to any conclusions. I do my best to let facts or highly researched phenomena that aren't really open to the scientific method guide my beliefs. Being open to allowing new information to adjust my worldview is painful but I believe the results are worth it, especially since I believe that the truth sets me free. That is, the more accurate my worldview, the more accurately I can see myself and others, and all that is. It is the road less traveled, and it's the only path for me. I'm not sure what else to say.

I believe this story because Jesus in the Beatitudes says that the pure in heart will see God. The most pure are children at such a tender age. He was only 3. And boys mature about two years slower than girls even. Also, Christ in the Bible says that let the children come to Me and do not hinder them for to them belongs the Kingdom of Heaven. Even though he did not die, he had a vision. Many holy men have had visions. As St. Paul related his vision, he did not know in the body or out, as he wrote, but he did see Heaven. But so he would not be elated, he was suffering. Even though he prayed for the suffering to leave him, God told him that His grace was perfected in weakness. Glory be to God for all things. In Heaven there is no pain, sorrow or suffering.

I believe in heaven but how could he possibly remember all of that happening at age three and so many years later? I have one memory at age three and that's when my mom and dad walked into our home with my new baby sister. It just seems like they continue to add to the story but I'm not trying to doubt them...just curious.

I never really knew my mother, because she died when I was very young. I have always wondered... Will I recognize her when I get to heaven? And will she recognize me? This bothers me because I've read that the Bible says in Isaiah that “in heaven, we won't remember the former things.”
In Isaiah 65:17: “Behold, I will create new heavens and a new earth. The former things will not be remembered, nor will they come to mind.”
In 2 Samuel 12:23 it reads in heaven your mother will recognize you, and you will recognize her-even if you never knew each other on earth. When King David’s infant son died, David declared, “I will go to him”
So Isaiah 65:17 has nothing to do with whether or not we will be reunited with our loved ones in heaven if we know Christ. Instead, it gives us a great promise: Someday all the sins. More than that, God has promised that in heaven nothing-even the memory of this world’s sin and pain-will cast a shadow over the joy He has in store for us there. and pains and failures of this world will be over, and we will be with Christ forever.
Think about that for a moment. In this world, even the memory of what someone did to us years ago can still cause us pain. But that won’t be true in heaven, because our focus won’t be on the past but on Christ and what He means to us.
Psalm 23:4 reminds us to fear no evil, though they walk through the valley of the shadow of death. It's a reminder that those in Heaven have eternal life, which is a comfort to us who are left behind.

Christians sometimes believe they go to heaven just because they are Christians. NO.We have to Love the Lord Jesus,accept Him as our Saviour and thank Him for saving our souls and giving us Salvation.

can you please ask Colton why he said the Holy Spirit was blue? (clothing? ... skin?) and why he said the Holy Spirit had a throne next to God the Father, but John in Revelation only mentioned two thrones, the Father and the Son's. thank you.

on pg 108 in the book Colton reveals that God was blue. He obviously saw Krishna! I am blown away! Now Christians will have to be open to the fact that Krishna is God the father of Jesus! He is blue! Colton said it! Cannot be argued with.

Colton seems like he is reciting something. I don't mind his story being true, honestly, I came here fully intent to believe him and his father - but this kid is so obviously acting, I had to stop this twenty minutes in.
It's like watching Tom Cruise doing his constructed interviewy, with all the calculated pauses and puns thrown in as well, for good meassure.
Again - not saying heaven or god do not exist, because most of the times I believe it does, but this kid is lying. I'm not sure on the father though; he does come across as genuine, but than even in his case, there is the whole fake act ect.

I want to believe this. But in other interviews the Dad is doing ALL the talking. In the movie there was minimal detail. As the boy gets older and they promote the book.... there is SO much more detail and he met Gabriel, Mary and some apostles? And he saw GOD? Moses didn’t even see God. Nobody has. This boy has contradicted himself in a few interviews. But... it’s still a nice story.💜
