I actually thought of something very similar to this today and thought maybe I could find it or something similar on UA-cam. I also thought of a more complex one where each knob is actually a puzzle that you have to pull from the bottom to the top of a tube and the inside of the tube would be a maze groved into the surface of the inside of the tube. The knob or pin that sits in the tube, would have a little peg on the bottom side that you have to make go through the groves of the maze by twisting, pulling, pushing, etc until you get the knob all the way to the top. Multiple that by 10 or so and you have an extremely difficult puzzle lock. Also, since the knob or pin sits in the tube, you won’t be able to see the maze which makes it super difficult. You have to basically figure it out by doing the right push/pull/twists to get the knob to the top. If that makes any sense. 😎
Also mat the top of each maze, there could be a guard that has a spring so you have to get it to the very end for that to actually be in the correct position or else the spring guard won’t catch. If you don’t have that, you could just put the peg in an 360 degree position and it would open.
Amazing but instructions are a little confusing. Maybe consider naming the pieces like here is cardboard A and when we cut it, it will come back later in the video named A and we know this is the one from before
7:09 you said you are fixng an error, but we dont know what the error was and what you were doing to fix it. PLEASE TELL US WHAT THE ERROR WAS BC I WANNA BUILD THIS!
I was working on this for hours and hours and I realized very late that you did it wrong and it doesn´t work. You fixed the mistake but didn´t explained which mistake you did and how you solved. You said "templates are ok" but you didn´t provide any templartes, just the circles woth numbers. If you do a video to teach something you should put all the needed info.
I have watched the video in details 10 times and tried to make the blueprints for it. I cant figure out how the number order works. You cant just start with 1. if not the 2,4,9 is on the correct starting points. so then its not really 1 you always needs to start with from a random beginning. and if you randomize everything there is no way solve it by just knowing 123456789. and their end positions. IF ANYONE KNOWS PLZ LETS TALK.
Not sure if you are still interested. I haven't made it, so I could be wrong, but this is how I see it. The mistake was that he forgot to cut of one part of the 9-circle, which he then did cut of. About the 'puzzle' itself, I believe indeed that if you randomize everything it will be tricky to solve it again and it will not work by just entering the digits in order. However, if you remember the correct starting positions of the circles, which he shows in the beginning and end, you could use it in the intended way. But in general I think this is more a puzzle box than a save
These types of people title their videos (how it's done) but they don't tell you how to do it. Simply their ego, they are selfish and conceited people.

@@jadinealma7742 pretty sure it's the curved parts cut out of the first circles so they stop each other from moving if not in the right positions, so they can't rotate the larger circles that hold the lid to the box.

YES, THE VIDEO SHOWS HOW IT DOES IT BUT IT NEVER INDICATES THE ERROR AND THE SOLUTION AND NEVER MENTIONS HOW THE PASSWORD WORKS. IN THE END I SUPPOSE HE DOESN'T SAY IT BECAUSE IF HE DOES IT, EVERYONE WILL BE ABLE TO MAKE THE BOX AND HE WOULD NO LONGER HAVE ANYTHING IN SPECIAL.
