Alright, time for universities to rethink assignments. Now that students can compile reports in less than 5 minutes, every assignment time spent should now turn into meaningful practical projects (more practical and less time researching). This is a game changer!!
lol it’s a destruction of degrees. Deep searching quizlet and coursehero more like. Also perplexity is still way better because regardless Google is hella censored you won’t get truth from Google you’ll get corporate. You can tell perplexity to avoid this sh*t and it will do it. I respect that
Perplexity replaces everyday googling, besides light research. Deep research is a great tool for academics, report writers etc. but the power of perplexity is it's returned a pleasant experience to every day googling needs. completely different use cases.
So in 2024 we all learned how to leverage AI to summarize giant technical papers and huge pdf files into simple, digestible executive summaries, now in 2025 we are gifted a new tool to create our very own giant technical papers 😎. Serious note - great overview of powerful new tool and use cases - thanks.🏆
I love notebook LM for generating research from a set of documents, but I really need this export-with-sources functionality. any recommendations on how to achieve that with this tool?
Thank you for the information. I'm testing the tool and I consider that it's amazing. Obviously, we should review a lot the results before to publish any documento.
pretty simple go to google ai studio click the model box and scroll down and choose Gemini 2.0 flash. if your talking about the live stream thing just click stream realtime below create prompt. He shouldn't make a video on this bc it's pretty basic.
Consensus might be a better version of this due to it's higher standards for sources. Though I'd imagine that this would do better with topics that don't have as much high quality published references.
Not very impressive. It basically goes through the sources and regurgitates the information without any critical thought. Good enough if you want to write an essay in high school, but not very valuable when real money is on the line.
I'm blown away by the Gemini Advanced 1.5 Pro tool! The investment research capabilities are insane. Definitely going to check it out and see how I can use it to streamline my own research process.
I just conducted research with Google deep research asking to cover phones and tablets for the last 2 years and the report came with 2022 and 2023, so at least one year old results. How can that be even remotely compared with perplexity that provides real-time web search?
It means the model thought the last two years are 2022 and 2023. You can say the model is dumb, or you can just go back and reformulate the question asking for research of 2024 and 2023 and get what you asked for.
Google's made more contributions to the progress of AI than any other company. But Google's product line and internal management are way too complicated and messy. The latest products lack engineering depth and don't even have a unified entrance. It's really a shame. Google is always on the cutting edge of core tech, but it can never come up with some real mind-blowing products. AI Studio and Gemini APP are jokes for real. Google can never get multiple teams together to form a united force. Sam is laughing his ass off.

Afforai can do that. It's better than Notebook LM, surprisingly.
@@FabricaOmnia I’ll check it out… thanks
You can export the final document from deep research to Google doc and use that as a source for your notebooklm I think
@@dillanio9191 that's the opposite problem of what I'm trying to solve... I want NotebookLM to give sources like Deep does.
Well that is exactly what Deep Research does…

Great video - explaining the nuances :)
now this is cool.
you do some great, short tutorials.. thanks again!
please do a video on how to use google aistudio with gemini 2.0

Wonderful Podcast... Stay authentic, stay valuable...
The 4th dimensional praxis is my desire. I need to learn this for my video game. KIT & Aalto University have the same hype.

which one is better for doing research? is perflexity still better for research?

The community is $49 bucks a month. WTH dude?! Do you have any student pricing?

It's still not able to come up with google sheet models or diagrams :(
How many queries can you do per month?

The larger the Bureaucracy the larger the lagg
Cope harder, and pay another $200 to Sam Altman.
Do you have any idea how many products Google has released in its short lifetime? 😊😊
@PseudoProphet why so defensive.
I don't see those models on my Gemini
me too. EU regulations?
@@Open-Source-Lab maybe :-(((
so i signed up for pro. It is not there
As a guy who is on steroids AND uses Perplexity, you've piqued my interest.
How do I get access to deep research model? I don't see it. Is this a VPN issue (on in the US)?
Google ai subscription
@saurabhnikam still hasn't helped
Still in my case is not yet delivered this 'deep research model' - even if I'm on in pro advance subscription plan. Can anyone help?
@@dankoan I don't have it either, I'm in Portugal, EU
@@dankoan bro just set the main language (first language) to English in your google account settings. It worked for me and the model appeared
wooooo
8:02 it's repeatedly telling you to invest in Google.
Rhis AI ks truly smart. 😂😂
Honestly I feel like perplexity has gotten worse and lazy as well. This will shut down perplexity for sure.
Google has always been the sleeping giant. Yeah, they’ve had their back steps, but they always try to move forward and learn
Holy!
So Google came out and murdered, Sora, OpenAI, and Perplexity just before Christmas?😂
They aren't even that much dependent on Nvidia either. 😮😂😂
Imagine this process powered by Willow.
