which TD build is this? I have tried the most recent and experimental, and in the GEO at 6:37 the Instancing settings are different (there's an additional "active" window under Translate OP) and the translate R,G and B just produces a 'flat S curve line' in the geo!?
On Build 2019.15230 you can add a TOP to CHOP node, then a Shuffle node with method set to 'Sequence Channels by Name' and reference that in the Geometry Instance CHOP/DAT/SOP field.
yes, that's straight forward to a 'rough' cylinder since there is only sine curve. I want it to cover the sphere and go with no stretch since there's a difference between extrude and elevation

could you not of just used a sin wave to calculate the blue value of a 1x1024 line and then stretched it to 1024*1024?
