Such good advice. I get really nervous when I try to strike conversations with strangers even through almost all the times I’ve done it, it’s ends up perfectly fine
Internet is crazy. Now we have lectures on why you need friends. Guys, if you need somebody to tell you to socialize, you have problems that need to be fixed. And this girl talks about friends like a business, it's not a give and take thing. Your friends don't need to help you in your career to be your real friends. You just need emotional support and somebody to lift you up every time you fall, somebody that understands you. Somebody that is ready to fight with you. I always say this "I don't need self defense classes cause I've got friends. If you hit me, you'll see fists coming at you from all directions".
Mr. Orca I think she’s talking abt how your friends can push you to become the best version of yourself and relates this to her goals and experiences to make a video tailored to the demographic she wants to reach! :)
Much needed advice. I find striking conversations with strangers pretty easy, had experiences where I had deep conversations with complete random strangers. But for some reason I've been unable to convert those instances into long-lasting friendships. After the convo with people, I usually get their contact (could be number, linkedin, or instagram), but I feel self-conscious when I think of reaching out to them via the contact. P.s.: I liked the style of your intro
First of all, welcome 🎉 You're already doing better than most to strike conversations to begin with. Following up is just as important as having spoken to them once, especially after a networking event they already like you enough to share contact so what's the worst thing that could happen? Block you? The chances of that happening are -ve. If someone reached out to you won't you feel good about it, it'll be the same on the other side! So, hope that makes it a little less daunting :) thanks for watching again
The OG Zabeel Park .....cheers!
