The parody as it started out turned out to be a gem in its most consensus state. When i started watching the orville from season 1 to the last episode of season 3, there was never a dull moment and i never skipped any part of it. Every bit of excitement and energy in this series was such an amazing experience. I have watched a few series but have skipped a few parts. Honestly, not one episode was ever skipped in The Orville. The first season brought me joy and sparked interest in the main characters. Season 2 spiced it up with emotions and a deeper connection with them and the third episode was like a desert. It covered the entire series with a sweet spark of relative story telling and this was the same feeling i had when i finished the entire Lord of the rings saga and I want more. Being a family Guy fan since i was 17, i knew seth mcfarlane would bring so much more in the table than just comedy. This was an amazing experience and im still wanting more. needless to say, The Orville is like a 3 course meal that has satisfied my hungry pallet for adventure and excitement for each episode. I need more and I cant wait to see more. All the main characters are unforgettable, from captain Ed Mercer to the ever heart warming Yaphet and the love story of Isaac and Dr Finn. All emotions has been covered in a wonderful tale of excitement, sadness, love and anger. Truly an amazing feat for such a short series and this has totally filled up my idle times. For now i can say, this has been THE BEST series i have ever finished and needless to say now that i finished all 3 seasons...what am i gonna do with my life???
I just finished it myself the other day. I am sad that season four isn't a guarantee. I really hope they make it happen. One of my favorite shows ever.
As much as I love the Moclan looks, seeing them dance like that for who knows how many minutes makes me think about how they slowly cook under all those prosthetics. And all that while delivering great performances. I wonder if it's any better (or worse?) for Mark, being covered literally head to toe in every single shot, other than A Happy Refrain. You know I had heard about this show and i used to think "how dare Seth Mock The Federation". However, after giving this show the opportunity to show me what it is about I am grateful I took the time to watch. This has to be one of the greatest sci fi series I have come cross.
