Hey Maria - The new mic is alright...good for using every once in a while for a different effect. I don't love the sound of it as much as, say, "Sensual Aroma Sprays..." or "Unclose Breathy Whispers," but it's interesting.

It's not that I wouldn't want a dog from a shelter, it's that if I were to walk dogs from the shelter then every one of them would end up coming home with me forever. It's just not a scalable solution.

Maria, I usually don't comment, just like and enjoy your vids. But after 3 or 4 years, I have to say I am impressed by you. You are committed, caring, and you allow creativity to flow! Everyone describes "tingles" but I feel more if a numb, trance like feeling. Kind of like when you stare off into space. Does anyone else not describe it as tingles?
I get the same trance-like feeling you do. I don't get "tingles" either.
I wouldn't describe that as tingles but certainly a relaxed state which is definitely a goal of ASMR. Tingles are more like chills on your scalp or going down your spine!

I used to get tingles and it stopped. I now get the feeling you described.
That sounds like flow state. It's a kind of hyper focus on whatever you're doing, in this case listening to ASMR. When it happens you stop taking notice of your surroundings or the passage of time.
Video suggestion: *Paint mixing*. I know Maria is creative and she has done art related ASMR videos before. Paint mixing videos on instagram are SO relaxing to me and maybe she can try it.
That's a really great idea! I wouldn't mine listening to a video like that.
Yay! I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one who likes this. I've realized though after typing this comment that she may not have the tools needed for the mixing or the type of paint usually used in these videos (oil paint/acrylic) so I understand if she doesn't do it, but I just thought it would be nice. And aesthetically, it's so pretty, too.

Maria, I've come back to this video a few times over the past few months and I still love it. Especially the first 4 minutes - one of my favourite parts of any ASMR video. The colours and texture are so beautiful to me - the soft greys of the walls and carpet, and the pop of the greens from the plant, and even the subtle touches of blue from the "zoom" and your eyes. Your use of your voice in this video is as calming and soothing as it has ever been, and I think the casual setting of sitting on the floor beside the plant adds to the lovely atmosphere. Also I can't get over how good the effect is when you turn the mic around while you speak - very tingly. A wonderful job. Thank you!

I used to be super embarrassed and never shared it with anybody. I usually don't have secrets, but this was the only thing I kept to myself, but the more I watch these videos the more comfortable I become with the fact that I get the tingles, and its not embarrassing anymore. I guess I have good non-judgemental friends haha
