Man if there’s one thing this game got on point was really making you feel like a CIA/SOG agent. the Cold War 60s vibe was so dark and scary yet very real and immersive. Especially the opening with mission in Cuba. Just felt so... badass
+Ayman Hajjar yeah why i am watching this campagain for like 3rd or forth time i tried to watch bo3 but it was so un ingaging complete opposite of this which is great.

warnpassion yea man this is the best Cod ever made !! Wish I could turn time and relive the day when I was waiting in line for the midnight release with my brother 😭
I can say that the campaign experience of this game was fantastic. It had very immersive and diverse missions, as well as a rather gripping story with a variety of locations. It wasn't like some of the newer games with their huge world conflicts, where every mission is just running across a chaotic warzone.
I know right I mean its kinda a old call of duty game, but the story is great the zombie mode is great the multiplayer is great and it brings me sure of alot of memories when I play it :)
Could not help but come back & watch this beautiful gem of a call of duty. It’s crazy to think this was uploaded two days before it’s initial release. This was my first official call of duty. I remember opening it up on Christmas with a ps3, those were the times. Crazy to think we’re two months into vanguard & it’s one of if not the buggiest call of duty we’ve ever seen, more issues than a title that came out back In 2010. Wish the amount of effort put into these legendary titles were put into most recent ones. Maybe soon that’ll switch up
When I first played this game I kept wondering who were the interrogators. As I progressed further and further, I remembered what the interrogator said during the opening stages, "tell us what we want and we will guarantee your safety." That same phrase was said by only one other person throughout the campaign, he said it to Dr. Clark and a few others. At first I thought it was just a coincidence, but at the end of the game it was finally confirmed.
I'm not a Call of Duty fanboy nor did I play all of the games but this game is absolutely fantastic. And I'm not talking multiplayer wise fuck that, I didn't play the multiplayer even once, but I'm talking about the singleplayer campaign. Everything about it is just to perfect. I would quite possibly rank it not only as the best Call of Duty of all time but as one of the best games of all time in general.
‘Quimbara’ by Celia Cruz is a CLASSIC. only reason I even looked up this mission. (Song in the beginning on radio in bar). She’s a Cuban singer, but loved by all Hispanics and Races globally. & apart of LEGENDARY group “Fania All-Stars” 🔥🎶
I'm always blown away by the fact that these CoD mission walkthroughs always last 10 to 18 minutes tops, but when you play these missions yourself they feel much longer.
My teacher was teaching us about the cold war and played this video for us telling us about cuba I just gotta say after seeing that opening scene all the memories came flooding back.

@@ssrbeclipzer went fantastic 😩👌 they didn't hire me cuz apparently I havnt paid my taxes since 2003 so I'll probably just die to a shootout with the IRS
The only issue I have with Black Ops is the weapons. The issue I have with them is that a very large majority of them are both historically inaccurate and incorrect about the weapon's features. For example the M16. First off, it is first seen in the first level which take place in 1961. Which wouldn't make since since the weapon wouldn't enter military service until 1963. And that was before it is known as just "M16", it's designation at the time was XM16E1. I would've made since if the player and the other characters used M14's or M1 Carbines in the first level. Speaking of the M14, it may may be historically accurate but the model is incorrect. By the way, it is a battle rifle not an assault rifle. The model you see in the game is the light machine gun variant of the rifle, designated as the M14E2. And there are many weapons in this game that haven't even existed yet at the time the game take place. First you have the CZ 75 which wasn't introduced until 1975 and it's automatic variant wasn't introduced until 1992. A better choice for an automatic pistol in this game could have been the Stechkin APS. You have the MP5K. This weapon really stood out for me. As the MP5 wasn't created until 1966 in West Germany and the first prototypes of the MP5K wouldn't be introduced until 1976. Then there is the AK-74u. The AK-74, the weapons for which the 74u was based on wasn't introduced until 1974, as the 74u was created in 1976. And then you have the historically accurate weapons that should have had more game time. The Uzi, for starters, was actually used by the United States military and saw good use by MACV SOG during the Vietnam War. And then there are weapons in this game such as the PPSh-41, Sten Mk. II, MP-40, M1A1 Thompson, M1 Carbine, M1 Garand, Karabiner 98k, Arisaka 99, Winchester Model 1897, Browning Automatic Rifle Model 1918A2, Mosin Nagant Model 1891/30, and MG-42 should've been seen more in the Vietnam missions as these weapon were actually used in Vietnam by both American and South Vietnamese forces. The reasoning for the inaccuracies is so the Game Developers can have the game be more like previous Call of Duty games which has ridiculous weapons.
The way 'WOODS' stabbed that guy in an arm and then hit him with the bottle of liquor was So God damn awesome. The COOL-est shit I've ever seen in a videogame.
5:43 is the most iconic moment for me. That moment is just burned into my mind as a core memory.
Love the detail of them ducking their heads and then the lit cigar flying
I am exactly the same
This is the best Cod of all time.
Btw, it's sad not being able to find a match nowadays…

The track playing at the bar is Celia Cruz - Quimbara
Weird how the song is from 1974 and this is in 1961.
I know it is weird, they could have picked another Celia Song that came out during that year. She was really popular in Cuba
I got copyright for that song

Same bro. This game gives me nostalgia.
And now they add in a battle royal mode because that's when you know the game is dying
And now Gentleman,I am sad to inform you all that this series has officially gone into the downhill gutter of the absolute corruption and madness.
