    Darwin never said that. He never said that to begian with. The qoute only the fittest survives it's the wrong qoute which is always associated with darwin. It is wrongly associated and confused with him and as his qoute. He dint said that,he never did. what he said is *"it is not the strongest of the species that survive, nor the most intelligent, but the one most responsive to change."*
    *Not fitest but the one who are most adaptable to change. Only surives*

    "Survival of the fittest" is a concept from Herbert Spencer, not Darwin. "Social Darwinism" is Spencerism. Spencer distorted Darwin to form his sociological theories that led directly to eugenics and the Wall Street "ethics" that greed is good. Darwin meant "fittest" in the sense of which organism can fit into, or adapt to, present conditions. "Fittest" was not meant to imply a struggle for supremacy between members of a species, but how the species learns to fit into, or adapt to, its environment.
