"We need a new plan which involves losing a club and 3 diamonds" priceless this is such a great attitude accepting defeat graciously and still maximizing the tricks without panicking.
My fun board this week was board 1. I decided to overcall in Diamonds, because of the Spade shortage, but in retrospect I prefer your choice of doubling just in case partner bids Hs. However, I had a brain fart and overcalled 2D rather than 1D (gotta stop playing this tournament before I'm fully awake!). This persuaded the opponents to bid game, which of course was cold. 18% :-) Other than that, I got to the right spots. I managed to make 3NT on board 2 by ducking just one round of Hs after which E ended up being endplayed into giving me the last trick in Hs. But that was definitely more luck than judgement on my part. I chose to pass rather than bid 3H on board 6, so we got to play 3H after balancing over their 3C. And their 4S went down 1 on board 7, but that was due to the robot misplaying the hand, so no credit to me there either. Sometimes you get 60+% just for being in the right place to receive lucky gifts at the right time.
2SW+1 79% Overcalled 1D, competed with 2 and then left them. 3N-1 21% Opened 1D (debated downgrading which I sometimes do on this shape to avoid opening 3 card diamond, but thought better of it), Same play too. Glad to see I'm in good company. . 5DW-5 79% I challenged with 2H which pushed them to 5???? (I said nothing else btw). 4S 71% Exact same. 4S E 57% Led A of D. So I decided to lead a diamond. I figured it's better to lead through dummy's suit.I never underlead an Ace. 3H-1 25% Punted this one with a miscount (always 1 per tourney). I passed the double and re-entered after partner gave 3D over 3C. 4S-1E 79% Same bidding. Same lead but didn't duck the spade and returned another diamond (my default play in those siutations). Computer did something super weird where they trumped their winning heart. I think you made a mechanical error need the end of this where you threw the king of spades (am I missing something?) 4H=1 57% Not much to it. 58% tied 3 ways for 2nd place
A Yarborough is a hand with no cards higher than a 9! Lord Yarborough offered a thousand pounds to anyone holding such a hand, if they would in return pay him 1 pound for each hand they got that did not qualify. Obviously the Lord knew his chances.

Thoughts on opening 1 Spade on board 2?
If you're gonna off book, why not at least get the benefit of opening 1NT?

Why not Q of d on board 2?
