    I saw this video at 10:00 last night, immediately went downstairs to try it out. Oh my word it was almost an instant fix. I got so excited just shooting around and practicing I didn’t go to bed til midnight! Haha, thank you for your knowledge and your willingness to teach. I try to pick up on what the pros do, by watching, studying, but it only gets so far trying to understand what they’re thinking. This system takes all the guess work out. I love it! Thank you!

    One of your best sessions thus far. The sound was improved too. The instructions on straight in shots and further explanation of the technique for the pivots was excellent. As others have asked, I hope as I see the continuing videos that front and behind perspectives on the cue and object are used. Mike and you really explain in lay terms for us wanting to learn.

    the beauty of this aiming system is it takes away all the "draw a line from the pocket through the object ball = your contact/ghost ball point" THEN go to the cueball, draw a line from the middle of the cueball to the contact point you found in the first step.
    the key to this system's success is the aim at the 50% or 75% which eliminates every step i typed in the first paragraph. then splitting the difference will make your body get in line for the shot to make the object ball go into the pocket because of physics. this is genius. i am a believer and a huge fan of Lil Mike now.
    wtf i've been aiming wrong for over 20 years. this is gold.

    One thing you need to mention Kenny is that Little Mike has a perfect stroke period, that son of a gun has a very accurate and beautiful stroke. Now if you ask any professional what a good stroke is? they will probably reply four to six inches passing the cue ball, if you pay attention to Mikes stroke, he is stopping exactly around that range 4 to 6 inches. I started practicing yesterday hitting the ball at 25 and 75 with an almost str8 shots and the system works and its accurate. Thank you guys excellent video.

    Interesting. I'm a center ball player however never thought of looking at the very top of the object ball. Will try this simple trick. Thx.

    I quit pool many years ago as i found other games, but recently played again but ended so terrible that i don't know how to put the ball like before. I was so frustrated, until i found this video, I started to learn again and hey! so simple and straightforward ... Thanks Little Mike for the simple method but useful.

    If you don’t put the time in for practice it doesn’t matter what system you use shot making is a feel thing and you also have to adjust for English.You have to shoot a shot enough time to be able to fill the right shot

  • @SuperSamsmusic

    I like the way you are showing people an easy way to play pool. But, you are not showing difficult shots long shots and or 90 degree shots. And also you have to show the spot where you have to hit on the object ball. When you show how to play, you have to show what spot you are hitting on the cue ball and the spot you are going to hit on the object ball. That would help a lot. Thanks for your lessons. I already learned new things from you.

    Any chance of showing some shots from behind the cue ball. I understand CTE and pivots but I am not clear on splitting the difference and exactly what you are doing to get to centre ball. Thanks for the tip on straight in shots. Enjoy your videos and keep them coming.

      Thanks. The part that's not clear to me is it looks like pivot to the split is not centre cue ball but adding english to the shot.

    • @FaDaVlogs

    Hey Ken, would it be possible to show Mike's pivot and stroke from center cue ball to a center % on the object ball from start to finish in Slow-Motion one directly in front of him and one directly in back of him. Thanks for your and Mike's work. :)

  • @old8
    @old8 7 років тому +1

    Simple easy thanks, means a lot to a novice!!

  • @johnpayne8194
    @johnpayne8194 6 років тому

    Ken, you mention below that Mike uses Back Hand Pivot, but if you do that, keeping the front still, your tip will be moved off the center of the cue ball. In order to always be hitting the center of the cue ball when shifting, you would have to shift like the spoke on a bicycle wheel, as opposed the needle on a gas gauge. Can you clarify some of this with Mike?

  • @edtamboni4752
    @edtamboni4752 7 років тому

    I like Mike a lot, he's really direct and keeps it simple wit no BS...I would like to see how he 'splits the difference' from behind the cue ball, it's hard to pick up seeing it from the front...if I 'pivot' my cue to split the diff I'm now hitting the cue ball off center and putting spin on it...how does he 'pivot' and not hit the cue ball off center?

    • @edtamboni4752
      @edtamboni4752 7 років тому

      Kenny - I just saw your reply to Horsedaddy...so seems it's not a pivot of the cue, but a body shift so you hit center cue but aim at the SPD contact point..correct?

    • @FaDaVlogs
      @FaDaVlogs  7 років тому

      +E Tamboni not a body pivot. Will do a video on pivoting in near future. A lot of people asking about pivoting.

    Are any of the training sessions focused on the edge to edge shot?
    For me this is the hardest one with the most room for interpretation while the split the difference shot and the horizon shot are very well-defined.

    • @FaDaVlogs
      @FaDaVlogs  5 років тому +1

      For the edge to edge shot, you just need to practice and see it for yourself. After a few hundred balls, you'll know what works for you.

    This is so enlightening to me! Thank you Mike and Ken! I used to shoot pretty well and made college spending money but just shot instinctively. Wish I had known about this 55 years ago! Now here is my problem. At 75 years of age I have started shooting again after many years lay off and I now have an impinged left shoulder which means I can't get down on the shot and have to shoot from a little more upright stance like Minnesota Fats did (not by any means comparing me to him!). This gives me a little problem with aiming. Any suggestions to make this a little easier? Thanks, and I look forward to learning a lot from you guys!

    • @FaDaVlogs
      @FaDaVlogs  7 років тому +1

      +Jim Bryan Hi Jim, when I was going thru a transistion phase, I was hitting the ball in a more upwards position as well do to my left shoulder. I also have issues with my left and still am. I'm currently waiting for surgery. What I found out was that in an more upward stance position, I saw more of the layout and had better cue ball control of the speed. Instead of trying to look over instead of thru or barely over the Cue ball, I was stroking and following thru the ball more. This in turn made me strike the ball with more consistency. My issue with this position is with the long shots. With the long shots I had to get down more on the ball to be more accurate. Sorry I don't have better knowledge on this subject.

    • @yodadf
      @yodadf 7 років тому +1

      That's a great and much appreciated reply, Ken! Totally makes sense. And, yes, the longer shots are the ones that create the most problems, but that's always true! You and Little Mike keep up the good work, and I'll continue to be a grateful fan! Thanks!

    ok brothers, I do have a question... So Mike, how can I know the right bridge length to pivot with? Sometimes with backhand rotation I'm still getting too much deflection and ssometimes not enough. ok ok, I know, without being too long winded, I know the exercises for identifying the proper length. (so I measure it, and even marked it on my cue) Regardless, there are times I still don't contact the right spot on the object ball. It's only like 7% of the time, but I'm trying to improve my consistency. Thanks for all your help guys.

    Good info. Can you have Mike explain when he pivots from Center to center, to split the difference, is the CENTER of his tip at the 25 or 75 right before he shoots ? Or is the side of the tip / ferrule pointed at the split the difference 25 or 75 ?
    Any idea when you and Mike will do Banks ? Thanks

    • @FaDaVlogs
      @FaDaVlogs  7 років тому

      +Horsedaddy2 he hits the Cue ball in the center aiming at the point of contact on the object ball. We will have a upcoming video that will explain this more in detail.
      We will also do a bank video in the near future.

    Kenny I sure enjoy the videos you and Mike put out. I learn a lot and must be a little slow. When it comes to splitting the difference he sometimes talks 50 75 an 100 and to the left 50 25 and 0. I am ok with that but when splitting the difference his stroke is so slow or so small I can not tell when he is doing for sure. He centers on the cue ball and the object ball then what? Does he hit the cue ball or the object ball on the angle? Must be the object ball? When he does left or english it must not interfere with the shot to object ball. Love your work and pray your surgery went well. Keep in touch. Thanks guys

    • @FaDaVlogs
      @FaDaVlogs  6 років тому

      He's pivoting to the object ball, hitting the cue ball center unless he wants to put English. The movement is is little that you can barely see when he does. The farther the object ball, the less you will see the pivot.😁

    It doesn’t make sense to me that he’s claiming he doesn’t put side spin or unintended English on all of his shots. If you pivot to off center which is what he teaches then he absolutely is putting English on the ball

    • @PapeySapote
      @PapeySapote 2 роки тому

      I don’t think you’re pivoting off center. I think it’s aiming at 1/2 or 50% on the object ball then pivoting with your stick to the center of the cue ball
