So nice natural life...we in cities really r missing this heavenly place....if only all people realised d beauty & goodness of living in villages...this world itself would have been a paradise..with greenery fresh fruits, veggies, animals, fresh air & pure water... Oh...how i wish this life!!! But sadly today many many villagers r living urban life style....dey have sent their children abroad & stopped growing crops veggies & r buying ready made stuffs
Geographically, it is a part of India but it was a part of Nepal long time ago. Really does not matter where it actually situated as long as they are proud to be a Nepali. We are very proud and happy to see Nepali culture and rituals in Sikkim. Lifestyle is also same as Nepalese . Even the languages are same. No doubt it more like Nepal rather than India. Love you Sikkimese. Immense love and respect from Nepal.
Darjeeling which was part of sikkim was occupied by nepal and following 1816 treaty of sagauli was annexed by British India and become part of present day state of west Bengal. But the area of present sikkim was never part of nepal. It was independent kingdom till annexed by india in 1975.
I stayed 7 days there in Sikkim for some industrial training purpose, the day I finished my training, I started crying in the grief of leaving Sikkim because, it's too beautiful from each and every angle that I just didn't wanna come back home.
Instead of showing rural life.....u have shown only one family's routine life....You should have covered entire village...like... schools..roads.. transport..water supply..electicity supply... doctors...etc etc

I remember the typical " kukrako khor ' that we used to have in my young days. But due to some reason fox dragged hen or cock some times during night..Well production keep it up. I will definitely visit to this location and surrounding areas when I visit my home town Kurseong , on my next trip.
