@@Nerwrax15I know this comment is 3 years old but maybe this’ll be somewhat like the prologue of KH2 where Yozora is the protagonist and you play through the trials
Before I didn't care much about Yozora, but after remind it changed my mind. When I discovered the symbol on Yozora's outfit, I was a little spooked. I think the Xehanort saga started and ended with the same quote.
I find it pretty weird that Rex thought Sora looked like Yozora, cuz they don’t really look alike. Aling with how Donald and Goofy were going to be confused for Magia and Aegis, and how they emphasize Yozora looks like Riku not Sora, it really seems like Rex literally saw Sora as Yozora. This is something I think will be expanded upon in future installments
Interesting thought. I think Sora and Yozora are looking the same to Rex somehow, too. Maybe Yozora looks like Sora, though. Remember Yozora says "this isn't really what I look like." Consider how Yozora asks, "How'd you recognize me as Yozora?", as if other people normally don't. Sora seems to be seeing what other people are not. Then Yozora seems to disbelieve that Sora was actually Sora "you're sora?!"; he seemed wary, like his face was being worn by someone else. Then think about how they overlap each other "I've been having these weird thoughts lately..." We know Sora says that initially in KH1. With Yozora now also saying it alongside Sora, that seems to suggest that they are one in the same in some way. Then there's the fact that they manifest Sora's dive to heart before appearing in Shibuya. Finally, with Yozora's heart being twisted beyond recognition Sky --> becomes Night Sky. That is a twist beyond recognition: a complete inversion. I think Yozora is a twisted/mirror (not necessarily evil) Sora in another worldline. He is maybe being manipulated by someone (MoM). But I think he really is trying to save Sora from fading completely out of existence. Sora does appear in a night version of the final world, maybe he somehow ends up in Yozora's dreams through their connection and for Yozora to save him it requires Sora be frozen like in the 'bad' ending. It looks like if we start with the good ending Yozora disappears because Sora can save himself and we'll get Sora in Shibuya.
I found it interesting how rex mentions how he got stuck on the Bahamut boss in verum rex, a neat reference to final fantasy summons in general but also particularly how ffxv’s alternative ending shows off Bahamut’s character and intentions. I wonder if its just coincidental but it would be neat if it gets referenced in the future games
If hes the "true king" he either is sora in a way or maybe a counterpart to mickey, or he might be noctis. Since remind brought back ff chars i think its highly possible that yozora and noctis are somehow related, both have night themed names, are kings, and look similar with noctis havung a buncha old crazy weapons so maybe a keyblade was thrown his way and it messes with everything
Talking about connections of the first Kingdom Hearts game with the last one (actually, I mean Verum Rex) Yozora's weapon glows red, just like Sora's outfit in KH1. Magia's weapon glows blue, just like Donald's outfit throughout the series. and Aigis' weapon is green, like Goofy's outfit.
@@OrganizationXIII all you need to travel between realities is the power of waking. Check the end of melody of memories. Yozora has the power of waking
The girl in Verum Rex has a star neckless. Which could hint back then that she was the nameless star. Also Luna in FFXV had a moon neckless simiar to the Verum Rex girl. So it would not be unlikely that her name is Stella.
Great video. Few things to add though: If you've played FF15 you might notice that Magia and Aegis look almost exactly like Prompto and Ignis; the companions of Noctis Lucis Caelum (who looks like Yozora). Also Ignis sounds and looks like Luxord... I bought and played FF15 because of this fact :D. There might be a connection to this, but who knows. One more thing: This is just speculation, but in FF15 the last name of kings in that universe is Caelum. Keyblade warriors lived in Scala ad Caelum. My thoughts are that Master of Masters's last name is Caelum and he might be one of the kings from FF15 universe. That might be a reason why Young Xehanort reacted the way he did to MoM's name. EVEN MORE SPECULATION IF YOU'RE UP FOR IT! In the KH3 epilogue, we see the black box. On the side it reads "SUPERX". That might be an anagram name for MoM. I tried many different anagrams, and one that just snapped in my head was Preus. I think Master of Master's full name is Preus Lucis Caelum. What do you guys think about these theories?
He's gonna be the new Xehanort figure I strongly believe, given how every KH sets up the next villain as a hidden boss this just seems like business as usual with Nomura. Here's what I think is gonna be the twist: Yozora is Sora from another universe/timeline. I strongly believe alternative realities and timelines are gonna be heavy in this new series and I think Time is gonna envelop the Darkness and Light theme of the Xehanort Saga.
@@The.RAGE.Master Idk if he'll be the next Xehanort figure. If that were the case, he would likely be the villain of the next saga, and Yozora's intentions seem to be good, though we don't exactly know why his plan seems to involve beating the life out of Sora lol.
@@ajfalcon7854 I meant Xemnas but I mean still right technically lol I was referring to how every new main villain for the next entry was almost exclusively introduced by means of hidden boss encounter from Xemnas to Terranort to Young Xehanort they were all introduced in some way or another as a hidden boss. So I think the first game of this new series Yozora will be the "villain" but I believe his story will be playable to show how his ends justify the means.
@@The.RAGE.Master That would be interesting, but I still don't think Yozora will be a villain, and if he is, it will probably only be because either he was influenced by the master, or because he was corrupted by someone or something that originates in his world.
@@ajfalcon7854 That's why I put parentheses around villain. I think he will be viewed as a villain by the members of the Sora Crew while in reality he's the true hero of the story seeking to set things straight again but having to take extreme measures to get to achieve that goal. I don't believe he will be a true villain, more like an anti-hero/anti-villain for the first part before joining the ranks of the heroes in full. That's just where I see things going connecting the dots Nomura left behind, it's all speculation but I take a lot of inspiration behind my own storytelling devices within my own games I'm writing and developing myself from Nomura, so I just feel like, after following the man's works so closely, I feel like I MIGHT be on to something but again it's just speculation.
I feel like with the whole reality being where we are and the other side of the coin being unreality, and with the line first spoken by sora now being spoken by yazora, and the fact that sora means sky and yazora means night sky. I feel like the 2 realities exist as parallels to each other. I think yazora could be the unreality version of sora. Possibly a mix of sora and Riku (some jojolion shit) just cuz of how much he looks like Riku, but that’s just an add in.
Now...I have a theory. What if this is the worldline Luxu visited in the secret reports? I remember him saying: "Even in a worldline with no Keyblade War, peace is but a dream". If there was no War, there was no coverage in darkness. If there wasn't coverage, the worlds would still be one, that being reinforced to the fact that Destiny Islands is only a location than its own world. And it also explains why Shibuya is there too. It also reinforces HMK's "world outside of time" theory. But we all know one thing: Nomura has plans. Really messy plans, but plans nonetheless. We can do nothing but speculate about it.
I'm a bit late to this video lol. But some of the posters have the characters used in Scala Ad Caelum; there is a thread somewhere on Twitter with people who have deciphered the alphabetical translations.
