they are 2 types of exo-l. one type is the one who is too busy interpreting the music video another one who is busy enjoying every element in their music and vocals and raps. i'm the 2nd type. for me music video is just a bonus. cried from my first listen to Let Me In because of how beautiful the song and their voices, the way they sang in it. the away they phrased everything. the way the rappers phrased their words. my goodness i was literally having goosebumps.

There are a ton of theories to explain what is happening in EXO's "Let Me In" MV, but what makes the most sense to me is that the lyrics are all about EXO's connection with their fans and their teaser images are connected to EXO's powers and storyline. For example, Kai says, "Here I am and everything I do for you is for us ...", which I see connected to the fact that his power is teleportation and it's his job to travel wherever the other EXO members and fans are in order to connect all of us together -- plus, it also could be connected to the scene in their "For Life" MV, where we see a sign that says "You Were Here." Xiumin's teaser highlights the line, "For long-lasting love, I will freeze my heart," referring to his power of frost. Baekhyun says, "To the Future with us who resemble light," referring to his ability to control light. Chanyeol says, "Don't worry if the darkness approaches, I will shine the light toward you, which could refer to his fire power, etc. D.O. also mentioned in their behind-the-scenes video that the "Let Me In" MV is a worldview of EXO's lore. If you watch the MV carefully, when time rewinds, D.O.'s notebook showed that he knew the meteor was going to hit Earth. We saw in his notebook that he drew a picture of the meteor, which seems to show that he already knew it was coming. And as the MV goes on, it's revealed that actually all the EXO members knew that the meteor was on a collision course for Earth and that it would hit at that exact moment. The story in "Let Me In" could all be a big reveal of what they were talking about way back in their pre-debut "History" lyrics and MV, because in that song they talk about wanting to prevent history from being repeated. "History" is about failing at something and trying again to make it right. The theory is that in this part of the story EXO made some sort of unknown "big mistake" on their planet, so they have been sent to Earth to try and right their wrongs by trying to prevent the Red Force from causing a "big mistake" or prevent humanity from allowing a "big mistake" to happen on Earth. Which now we may have discovered, is the meteor that crashes into Earth and destroys humanity. In "Let Me In" we see Sehun and D.O. sitting at the same outdoor cafe, and they make eye contact but they don't interact because it's thought that EXO are supposed to be going about their tasks on Earth incognito, and so they don't want to be noticed by whomever might be watching them or to reveal their location to the Red Force, etc. Some speculate that when D.O. and Sehun are looking at each other they are silently questioning whether they could use their powers to save the world. In "Love Shot" we saw Suho trying to prevent the members from watching the video by covering Chen's eyes. The scene with the end credits seems to be saying that this is the end of the world. However, as we see in the next moment, this was where time rewound and, as they say in EXO's "Call Me Baby" MV Pathcode teaser videos, "The beginning = The End." However, there is something more going on with Chen in the theater, because when Xiumin entered the movie theater, Chen squinted at him. Something seemed off about this scene. If you notice, when you see them laughing together, they seem to be watching a replay of a scene starring themselves before the meteor hit, but why? Then we see the stones start to float once again, which looks like it might be the pieces of the original meteor being reactivated like they are coming back together as time reverses. This also reminds me of D.O.'s power, which is the manipulation of Earth elements that give him super strength. In some of EXO's early teaser videos and concert VCRs from the early days, we see that D.O. is able to use his power of force to take giant rocks and use them to stop missiles from hitting their targets. So, was D.O. involved in helping to prevent the original meteor from causing destruction? And nothing in an EXO MV is ever random. For example, I think the child throwing the rock at the beginning is shown for a very specific reason. Many think the fact that he throws the rock is meant to be a metaphor for how the meteor wasn't a natural occurrence, but was actually caused by something man-made. As part of SM's Culture Universe storyline, it is thought that the underlying message the story is trying to address is all the things that we as humans are doing wrong that need to be fixed, such as war, hate, the destruction of the environment, governmental control, greed of money, etc., which is revealed through the interference of the Red Force and their influence on humanity. Therefore, it is thought that someone or something has directed this large rock toward Earth or caused the rock's trajectory to be directed toward Earth. There's also one scene in EXO's "Lucky One" MV where we see Kai in space with lots of meteors, which could be a foreshadowing of things to come. Therefore, some now think "Let Me In" is taking place after EXO has escaped in "Lucky One", which could explain why the members no longer have the ability to use their powers in "Let Me In". The Red Force stopped EXO's ability to use their powers when they were experimenting on them in "Lucky One". We originally thought that the story in their "Ko Ko Bop" MV took place right after "Lucky One," which would explain why they were loopy and unable to control their powers in "Ko Ko Bop", but since their "Obsession" MV part of the story was introduced, we now think that "Ko Ko Bop" is actually all about X-EXO's storyline, EXO's alter ego clones. That's why it is now thought that "Let Me In" is where EXO's story picks up after they escape in "Lucky One." "Let Me In" also could be taking place in conjunction with "Obsession's" part of the storyline, because we see the world being destroyed at the end of "Obsession." Maybe EXO are rewinding time to try to prevent whatever happened, in order to stop the destruction of Earth, which could be caused by the battle between EXO and X-EXO or the Red Force, as we see come to the boiling point in "Obsession". Also, notice how when time was turned back, only Xiumin and Chen -- the only members of EXO-M, EXO's Mandarin Chinese sub-unit, in this MV -- who were in the house, rewound, and everyone else stayed where they were. There are two theories to explain this. Either they are in parallel universes where they can see what is happening, or maybe one of them or some of them aren't EXO members, but they are an X-EXO member in disguise. In another scene, we see time rewind and the rock that Suho had disappears. We think that could be because the "disaster" never happened or hasn't happened yet. Therefore, it is thought that in this reality, EXO must be the only ones who know what happened in a previous time and place because the timeline has been altered or changed. Something must have prevented it from happening, or has changed the events which lead up to the meteor striking Earth, etc. As the time reversed, it gave them another chance, but they have to relive it all before they can figure out how to change things. The most interesting part of this MV storyline is that there is no eclipse or sun in the video. An eclipse/sun and moon are where EXO gets their powers from. Some speculate that this means that in their next MV there will be an eclipse, which will allow their powers to return. It's pretty clear that the EXO members are unable to use their powers in "Let Me In" because, for example, why wouldn't D.O. just use his power of force to break up the meteor and why would Kai need a car if he is able to teleport wherever he wants to go?
there’s no dance practice or recording behind but they do have a music video behind the scenes as well as a video called “get,set” where they just sit and talk about the photos they shot for this mv as well as goals for the album and promotions.

This is the first song and album with all the members except Lay in 4 years. Beside military breaking the group up, those still at home concentrating on solo work or other projects, they have all been separate for a stretch. Busy with their own lives and schedules. Leaving them likening their loneliness to a lover...when in fact they have been missing each other as a complete 8 member group. Separation, loneliness, sadness, something's missing...having the weight of their own personal problems without that other member, or any member, there to console them, their brotherhood is fragmented. They crave that, though Kai is with a dog, and Baekhyun and Chanyeol are alone. I am not one to theorize or break down powers, I have been an Exol since 2011, and the concept was intriguing and fun back then, but now that they're older and real goals need to be set, the concept started fading away a few years back now for me. Yes it's still there, but that's for the kids of today to figure it out, if they have the brains for it, or even want to. Being separated for so long, the rock at the end leaving the earth for me represents Exo coming together as group after being apart for so long....togetherness for this album...before Kai enlisted, or Sehun. Reconnecting with each other, with this album, this mv, this song. I've been waiting for so long to see them together. Powers, theories, storyline....I think we can all agree it's the last thing on Exo's minds....Exo's future hangs in the wings, as real decisions need to be made, for each member....supposedly another album is in the works, D.O. has a solo album coming up, i want Baekhyun to do another solo album as well, and Suho. Chen just came out with his new solo album. Sehun and Xiumin are busy with tv work. And now that Kai is gone and Sehun to follow, that small glimpse of all 8 together came and went...and we have to wait again...unless the group breaks up over the next year....that will solely depend on SM's new management, and if they will back Exo up with more work, music....they've been trying to ssweep Exo under the rug and hope they fade away...bringing in new boy groups. But with the clamoring of fans early this year, they need to watch what they do regarding Exo. I don't care if they're new management, they just better do right by Exo. Exo made SM. So you see why I do not try to figure out the concept, but there are those that do, like you. Have fun. I worry about the members breaking it off with SM (as some are doing now) which may or may not determine Exo as a group in the future.
Someone uploaded the live performance of this from EXO’s Japanese fan meet (I guess there’s a dvd?). The way they’re able to recreate the weaving and layering of their voices outside of the studio is incredible. EXO is just different. I highly recommend watching it on your own.
If you want to understand the MV you neet to do '' Lucky one'' that's so related to it , they were kept in some sort of clinic to Where did the Red Force try to get their powers ? Where You can see that Sehun and D.O., and maybe Suho too , are there. Perhaps the others escaped. I did not understand very well, but the idea is that they were able to save the Earth from the meteorite. This is EXO’s mission on Earth.

We can see them all apart of each other in the MV like they had been separated as a group for a long time doing solo works/military and being sad about it, missing each other. Then time reversed and the Earth is back whole again like the group is whole again for this comeback. I don't think that it was innocent that this song got out before Heart me out when they are just having a good time together. Just my opinion though, EXO MV's have often several layers of messages and interpretations in them. Time always have a bit part everywhere too. Baekhyun is watching the meteor hitting the ocean then rolling back as time reverses. Suho is moving and the reason may be the water leaking in. Kai's car is hit by a satellite. There are hints that they are strangers, without powers but their powers seep in as the world around them falls apart. Their powers appear to return, although they don't seem sure about them. The friendships return, Sehun and D.O. finally remember each other, Chen and Xiumin smile again, Kai is reunited with the dog, so it feels like things are turning around maybe as they remember who they are and find each other. There are many more theories that get way deeper, but with Lee Soo Man gone, I'm not sure how much of their concept is still being involved. I hope it does continue, but if it doesn't, the music stands alone anyway.

Welcome to the mad speculation and multiple rewatches to find details that happens among the fandom every time they drop an MV that is storyline heavy. It's part of the fun and people will probably talk about for years :D
So this is a big mystery cuz we don't have confirmation on who picked up the remaining 3 powers, time, telekinesis and flight. Based off this video alone, it looked like chanyeol had telekinesis, as the rocks went back up....or was baekhyun pushing the hugs wave and rock back out to sea? I personally, think Baek has taken time. It looked to me more like he was concentrating to turn back time....notice how everything in the world was moving backward at the point in the vid where all the members looked up to the sky.....profile shots flashed in vid. He looked like he was concentrated on something and D.O. seemed to know something was coming, cuz when he moved back to his seat, he had drawn it. But it is officially unknown who took on those abilities cuz if you were to watch Kai's MMMhhh vid, he might have telekenisis. I've yet to see anyone fly in an MV but the other two powers I've seen hinted to and we are basically on our own until its confirmed by the members, all we can do is speculate. That's why i love watching all the different theory vids and then I can either agree with one that makes the most sense or formulate my own based off of other facts others have pointed out. It's so fun.....their concept and our need to decipher it on our own is just brilliant.

To be perfectly honest, while I love how you guys are properly getting into all of the different kinds of content exo has to offer, I would personally prefer if you guys now moved onto some other mvs, concerts and eras rather than watching every single piece of cream soda album content (like exo reacting to the mv), but again, that’s just my personal opinion.

In some of EXO's early teaser videos and concert VCRs from the early days, we see that D.O. is able to use his power of force to take giant rocks and use them to stop missiles from hitting their targets. So, was D.O. involved in helping to prevent the original meteor from causing destruction?
And nothing in an EXO MV is ever random. For example, I think the child throwing the rock at the beginning is shown for a very specific reason. Many think the fact that he throws the rock is meant to be a metaphor for how the meteor wasn't a natural occurrence, but was actually caused by something man-made. As part of SM's Culture Universe storyline, it is thought that the underlying message the story is trying to address is all the things that we as humans are doing wrong that need to be fixed, such as war, hate, the destruction of the environment, governmental control, greed of money, etc., which is revealed through the interference of the Red Force and their influence on humanity. Therefore, it is thought that someone or something has directed this large rock toward Earth or caused the rock's trajectory to be directed toward Earth.
There's also one scene in EXO's "Lucky One" MV where we see Kai in space with lots of meteors, which could be a foreshadowing of things to come. Therefore, some now think "Let Me In" is taking place after EXO has escaped in "Lucky One", which could explain why the members no longer have the ability to use their powers in "Let Me In". The Red Force stopped EXO's ability to use their powers when they were experimenting on them in "Lucky One". We originally thought that the story in their "Ko Ko Bop" MV took place right after "Lucky One," which would explain why they were loopy and unable to control their powers in "Ko Ko Bop", but since their "Obsession" MV part of the story was introduced, we now think that "Ko Ko Bop" is actually all about X-EXO's storyline, EXO's alter ego clones. That's why it is now thought that "Let Me In" is where EXO's story picks up after they escape in "Lucky One."
"Let Me In" also could be taking place in conjunction with "Obsession's" part of the storyline, because we see the world being destroyed at the end of "Obsession." Maybe EXO are rewinding time to try to prevent whatever happened, in order to stop the destruction of Earth, which could be caused by the battle between EXO and X-EXO or the Red Force, as we see come to the boiling point in "Obsession".
Also, notice how when time was turned back, only Xiumin and Chen -- the only members of EXO-M, EXO's Mandarin Chinese sub-unit, in this MV -- who were in the house, rewound, and everyone else stayed where they were. There are two theories to explain this. Either they are in parallel universes where they can see what is happening, or maybe one of them or some of them aren't EXO members, but they are an X-EXO member in disguise.
In another scene, we see time rewind and the rock that Suho had disappears. We think that could be because the "disaster" never happened or hasn't happened yet. Therefore, it is thought that in this reality, EXO must be the only ones who know what happened in a previous time and place because the timeline has been altered or changed. Something must have prevented it from happening, or has changed the events which lead up to the meteor striking Earth, etc. As the time reversed, it gave them another chance, but they have to relive it all before they can figure out how to change things.
The most interesting part of this MV storyline is that there is no eclipse or sun in the video. An eclipse/sun and moon are where EXO gets their powers from. Some speculate that this means that in their next MV there will be an eclipse, which will allow their powers to return. It's pretty clear that the EXO members are unable to use their powers in "Let Me In" because, for example, why wouldn't D.O. just use his power of force to break up the meteor and why would Kai need a car if he is able to teleport wherever he wants to go?
there’s no dance practice or recording behind but they do have a music video behind the scenes as well as a video called “get,set” where they just sit and talk about the photos they shot for this mv as well as goals for the album and promotions.

These guides are slightly out of date but still very good and detailed. Waiting for more Exo reactions.
This is the first song and album with all the members except Lay in 4 years. Beside military breaking the group up, those still at home concentrating on solo work or other projects, they have all been separate for a stretch. Busy with their own lives and schedules. Leaving them likening their loneliness to a lover...when in fact they have been missing each other as a complete 8 member group.
Separation, loneliness, sadness, something's missing...having the weight of their own personal problems without that other member, or any member, there to console them, their brotherhood is fragmented. They crave that, though Kai is with a dog, and Baekhyun and Chanyeol are alone. I am not one to theorize or break down powers, I have been an Exol since 2011, and the concept was intriguing and fun back then, but now that they're older and real goals need to be set, the concept started fading away a few years back now for me. Yes it's still there, but that's for the kids of today to figure it out, if they have the brains for it, or even want to.
Being separated for so long, the rock at the end leaving the earth for me represents Exo coming together as group after being apart for so long....togetherness for this album...before Kai enlisted, or Sehun. Reconnecting with each other, with this album, this mv, this song. I've been waiting for so long to see them together. Powers, theories, storyline....I think we can all agree it's the last thing on Exo's minds....Exo's future hangs in the wings, as real decisions need to be made, for each member....supposedly another album is in the works, D.O. has a solo album coming up, i want Baekhyun to do another solo album as well, and Suho. Chen just came out with his new solo album. Sehun and Xiumin are busy with tv work. And now that Kai is gone and Sehun to follow, that small glimpse of all 8 together came and went...and we have to wait again...unless the group breaks up over the next year....that will solely depend on SM's new management, and if they will back Exo up with more work, music....they've been trying to ssweep Exo under the rug and hope they fade away...bringing in new boy groups. But with the clamoring of fans early this year, they need to watch what they do regarding Exo. I don't care if they're new management, they just better do right by Exo. Exo made SM.
So you see why I do not try to figure out the concept, but there are those that do, like you. Have fun. I worry about the members breaking it off with SM (as some are doing now) which may or may not determine Exo as a group in the future.
Someone uploaded the live performance of this from EXO’s Japanese fan meet (I guess there’s a dvd?). The way they’re able to recreate the weaving and layering of their voices outside of the studio is incredible. EXO is just different. I highly recommend watching it on your own.
If you want to understand the MV you neet to do '' Lucky one'' that's so related to it , they were kept in some sort of clinic to Where did the Red Force try to get their powers ? Where You can see that Sehun and D.O., and maybe Suho too , are there. Perhaps the others escaped. I did not understand very well, but the idea is that they were able to save the Earth from the meteorite. This is EXO’s mission on Earth.

Let me in is really a beautiful song. We can see them all apart of each other in the MV like they had been separated as a group for a long time doing solo works/military and being sad about it, missing each other. Then time reversed and the Earth is back whole again like the group is whole again for this comeback. I don't think that it was innocent that this song got out before Heart me out when they are just having a good time together. Just my opinion though, EXO MV's have often several layers of messages and interpretations in them. Time always have a bit part everywhere too.
Anyways, about your cream soda's journey, you might want to try the relay dance. You saw when they were practicing it in one of the behind the scenes but the real one is so funny and chaotic. the failed attempts at the end is funny too. EXO just being EXO and happy to be together. XD

Baekhyun is watching the meteor hitting the ocean then rolling back as time reverses. Suho is moving and the reason may be the water leaking in. Kai's car is hit by a satellite. There are hints that they are strangers, without powers but their powers seep in as the world around them falls apart. Their powers appear to return, although they don't seem sure about them. The friendships return, Sehun and D.O. finally remember each other, Chen and Xiumin smile again, Kai is reunited with the dog, so it feels like things are turning around maybe as they remember who they are and find each other. There are many more theories that get way deeper, but with Lee Soo Man gone, I'm not sure how much of their concept is still being involved. I hope it does continue, but if it doesn't, the music stands alone anyway.

Welcome to the mad speculation and multiple rewatches to find details that happens among the fandom every time they drop an MV that is storyline heavy. It's part of the fun and people will probably talk about for years :D
I feel kinda funny and a bit proud when both of you really can notice all the member just by their voices
So this is a big mystery cuz we don't have confirmation on who picked up the remaining 3 powers, time, telekinesis and flight. Based off this video alone, it looked like chanyeol had telekinesis, as the rocks went back up....or was baekhyun pushing the hugs wave and rock back out to sea? I personally, think Baek has taken time. It looked to me more like he was concentrating to turn back time....notice how everything in the world was moving backward at the point in the vid where all the members looked up to the sky.....profile shots flashed in vid. He looked like he was concentrated on something and D.O. seemed to know something was coming, cuz when he moved back to his seat, he had drawn it. But it is officially unknown who took on those abilities cuz if you were to watch Kai's MMMhhh vid, he might have telekenisis. I've yet to see anyone fly in an MV but the other two powers I've seen hinted to and we are basically on our own until its confirmed by the members, all we can do is speculate. That's why i love watching all the different theory vids and then I can either agree with one that makes the most sense or formulate my own based off of other facts others have pointed out. It's so fun.....their concept and our need to decipher it on our own is just brilliant.

To be perfectly honest, while I love how you guys are properly getting into all of the different kinds of content exo has to offer, I would personally prefer if you guys now moved onto some other mvs, concerts and eras rather than watching every single piece of cream soda album content (like exo reacting to the mv), but again, that’s just my personal opinion.
