Hard agree. I never yell at my cats. I might use the mom voice if absolutely necessary. Actually my older cat is the yelling at me. She has a thyroid issue and she's deaf

Your cat will never get close to you if you yell at her/ him! Plus it doesn’t work to stop unwanted behavior. Reward good behavior, and meet your cats’ needs for affection, stimulation, play time, healthy food, clean water, and regular veterinary visits. Yelling makes your cat dislike you and exacerbates bad behavior! If your cat acts up, cease the attention and walk away. My cats trust me completely, because I always treat them with respect and loving kindness. They are my best friends and most adorable companions. ❤
My cats are my everything, and I hope to never be without them. Ok, I know they live short lives. What I am saying is I never want to be without the company of cats.
