if you walk along Whatley Cresent in the direction of the post office and IGA, you can see a lot of the work being done to prepare the Morley- Ellenbrook line connection as you walk along the fence.
That is half of the Bayswater station, once the line opens they will start work on the 2 other platforms / bridge, with a total of 4 seperate platforms
Hey, I remember asking you this before but will the Morley/Ellenbrook like continue to Perth? Soo 3 separate train lines will operate on one set of tracks? Or will they upgrade it to due track to Perth?
Yea it will. It will mean a four minute frequency on that section which is still manageable. However, there is not enough time to turn around once terminating in Perth meaning that all trains will terminate and then quickly continue not in service to the Daglish siding to come back, which seems rather pointless, I would prefer they just ran the passenger service all the way to Daglish or Subiaco.
@@watransprotobservations They can't do that because then every train would have to cross the Perth-bound track which would be an operational nightmare and they would likely have to wait for a train to pass before doing so.
@@TransportofPerth might have been through a refit at some stage. I remember hopping onto a brand new A-series many years ago, and found the 3-way pole very bizarre.
Because they are faster to reach the Airport Tunnel speeds, it's quieter so it's not extremely loud in the tunnels, and they are already using all the A-series they have on the other lines.
I've seen some of the "old" NH buses again lately. Saw one running the midland line replacement service and one at Canning Bridge route 100. You might wanna take a look :)
Yeah I know there are so many of them out and about for the shutdown, I've ridden on a few but didn't film them. I think we have enough NH videos in this channel for now.
No I mean, he should have said that the train "stops at" not "calls at". That's a very British term which is extremely rarely used in Australia. The driver is probably British.
@@CASEOHClipz123 If you're transferring from the Midland Line you will have to switch at Meltham. If you used to use Bayswater you can use a free shuttle bus to get to Meltham.
Same but it said Butler to Perth after leaving EQ. “Next station Perth. This train runs from Butler to Perth, stopping at all stations” (Nowergup driver probably)
?? It's already been fully demolished and removed if you haven't seen it in this video. It happened a week ago last weekend as per my video at the time. You missed it.
I have the male Claremont announcements if you want them. No, I have not finished watching the video. I have to have breakfast now. Note to self: Stopped watching at 7:44

Set #33 is a prototype for the refurb program that never went ahead not sure why
Oh ok, I didn't know.
The split 3-way pole was installed to the very last of the A-series, there are only a few trains with it.
Set 33 is not one of the last A-series.

I have wondering this for a few months. Why does b series trains operate the airport line?

Did you know Midland airport line has been shut down😢
Yes of course I knew, it's been on the website for so long, I literally made a community post about it last night.
How do you say calls?

@@TransportofPerth Oh right, I didn't know it was a UK thing
This is also my first time seeing an a series train on the Claremont pattern
You can tell they’re not meant to hahaha, especially the way they announce the station name before the doors open (B series does this)
Claremont Station now have another new shelter on the East end 😮
That's been there since the original upgrade for the Airport Line in 2021. You can see it in this video here: ua-cam.com/video/hDuGfQjZgaM/v-deo.html
they never did have those split poles!!!!
I know right? I was so confused when I saw that.
so when the shutdown ends will trains run through the under construction Bayswater?
Yes, without stopping there.
Ok thanks

Fremantle Line trains use P9 for terminating, which is pretty cool
Is it? For me it was always at Platform 8, but probably because it's always been after 7PM when I was on it.
@@TransportofPerth well, I took on Fremantle Line one day, I think a Friday at nn time, all Fremantle Line Trains terminate at P9
