Yea, Mazikeen spent millennia as a demon just torturing humans so she was very severe, no nonsense at the beginning, but now that she is around humans for other reasons, she is learning to have fun. I love her character growth over the series!
One consistency with Lucifer's character is that no matter how bad it is for him personally, if someone tries to cheat him out of his free choice he will cause a riot.
Lucifer's desire... kinda summed up from the pilot episode... he took a vacation. Tired of the Hell scene, he desires a change in his "father's forced" lifestyle... and Chloe is the show's written-in catalyst for this change. In reality, an immortal fallen angel gets "attached" to this one random police woman... sounds like the typical "forbidden bad boy romance" scenario for most romance novel dramas
if an angel can use a skateboard to make someone crash a car then what could his dad do with person's life? I think he just doesn't want to be manipulated anymore
Lucifer still feels not worthy to be loved, so he cannot accept in the beginning that Chloe has a genuine feeling for him, and Mum didnt have any little consideration of his feelings, even Maze recognized this news will be devastating for him. Lucifer always said God is a cruel manipulator bastard, but you have a point, free will could just open different paths.
Oh, Mum knew perfectly well how that would devastate him. She only started pushing them together after finding out about Chloe’s miracle status. She intended to cause this pain (though admittedly she was rather aiming for anger at Dad) so that she could use his emotions for her plan. She wasn’t clueless, she was purposely cruel and manipulative
Love the intensity of this episode! (And that garbage disposal moment makes me cringe and look away every time. EEEEEEEESH. Awful.) Cannot wait to see what you think of the conclusion to this cliffhanger!! ❤

I've found that Adobe Premiere (and yes I am making assumptions here) has a big problem when dealing with variable frame rate files, such as produced by many modern phone cameras. You might record these at a fixed frame rate format or use the free program Handbrake to transcode them into a fixed frame rate format before importing them to Premiere and se if that helps, It solved a few friends' problems. There could be a multitude of other reasons. Did you make any changes to your computer or recording setup when you began to notice the problems? That may be a good place to start debugging what went wrong. It probably won't be easy though.

I think the loud cultures accept it as a necessary trope if they want their "stories'. And shouting at the screen doesn't work. I don't mind Ella's instant forensics. It keeps the story moving.

I think you answered your problem. You said Laptop. You should really just go and get a tower system as a storage bunker and processor to do your Editing. I would also recommend looking for something refurbished, it'll be a lot cheaper and if being sold by a reliable company like Microcenter, it'll have a short term warranty attacked. I haven't used one computer in so many years for multiple reasons, but trying to do your heavy lifting in a laptop means you need certain specs. I am not certain about the program your using, but it sounds like there's something to that as well. "I have thoughts" but too many for a comment section. ;) Good luck with your computer issues.

Amenadiel, who until recently never ventured between humans, always viewed them as beneath him, who used to slow down time so he wouldn't have to interact with them while doing what he had to do on Earth. Why would he sit for a photo with her, if there wasn't some kind of connection? And why would he be there in the first place, if not on their fathers behest? Pretty logical conclusion that most likely Mums story is (at least roughly) correct. And he's been pretty consistently rebelling against any kind of (perceived) infringement of his free will (hence his "fall" to being the devil), so it actually seems like consistent and good writing to me that he would react negatively to this new information as well. That the very existence of the person he only just realized might actually, truely love him was actively influenced by his "meddling" father. And just to note, he doesn't "go [...] to 'dad runs her like a puppet [...]'". But God having a hand in her existence throws doubts on everything connected with her, so naturally he is questioning everything, looking for further hints of his fathers influence.
