Just saw a few of your vids! They r great! I have a four month old pug puppy at the moment and love her to bits but am having a really hard time house training her! I saw you have fitted carpets in the house! How did you manage to avoid a Pablo pissing all over the place!?!? When she is alone my pug is as good as gold. She doesn't even use her toilet tray.. the minute we r home she is pissing all the time and everywhere!!!
Because their bladders are weak when they get exited they forget and it just leaks out! we always made sure when we came back we took him straight out until he had done a wee :) he usually just stayed in the kitchen until he'd done a wee then we let him on the carpets! He took to toilet training very well so we were very lucky!
They do get excited and have lil accidents 😊 when their pups. When Mr Big was little he would tinkle when we got home. He just couldn't help it, he was so excited and happy when we pet him.

When they're that young you shouldn't leave them alone for that long, if you have to just make sure they've had plenty to eat just before you leave, they have plenty of water available to last them the day and expect a lot of toilet to be on the floor when you get home. Also make sure that there is nothing dangerous that they could bite of eat

How long you can leave them and how long you should leave them are 2 very different things. Pugs can be left for as long as they have between meals .. but pugs should be left alone for long, Pugs are very needy and need a lot of attention and don't deal well being left alone for long periods of time :)
How about potty training? How long can a Pug go without being allowed to pee outside? I work 9 hours a day. I guess I can wakeup early enough for a quick doggy business but I won't get him not till around 5 PM. How many times must someone walk their dog?
BJM Graphics It depends on the dog, our dogs can go 8-10 hours while we are sleeping or at work/school but if you’re trying it out take them for a walk right before and after work and maybe check on them during lunch if you have a chance to see how they are coping. Most dogs can adjust to you work schedule but there may be accidents at first, even if they’ve had an accident while you’re at work you should walk them the second you get home regardless so that they develop a potty schedule. If you have a small dog they will have a smaller bladder, so you may need to invest in puppy pads. Both of our dogs are medium small dogs, a puggle and a king charles cavalier and the second we come home they ring the potty bells (bells hanging by our door that they nudge with their nose when they wish to go potty or for a walk)

Puppy food is designed just for puppies to help them grow bigger and stronger, I would recommend using it :)
