Another excellent tutorial series? Thank you so much for doing these: I've been learning lots from earlier ones. Could I ask a few questions that come to mind? 1. Why is it that you need a higher voltage from the batteries when the aircraft has been off for longer? That seems back to front, somehow. 2. Why is it that there are two separate external power controls? Does the aircraft require more power than a single feed can supply? Do the controls actually reflect two physical feeds? 3. What does the aircraft do in the 3 minutes after turning the APU master on, that changes start performance? 4. How does the aircraft use high/low pressure air feeds? Does one of them allow more functionality? Can you tell that one is connected by any means other than asking the ground crew? 5. Why does the order of switching on the ADIRUs matter? And what is the third switch position actually for? 6. Is it only the A330 that has the two-way switches on the dome light? (So you can get in and out without kneecapping yourself, presumably?) 4:44 I can't change the frequency for some reason. I have AI ATC off and unbound all comms related keybinds but when I click on the transfer frequency button the stby frequency changes to the active frequency but the active frequency does not change.
Very helpful to see the whole process at slower speed with explanations. Quick question: do you have a sense of how accurate the EFB TO performance calculator is? I find it often differs from simbrief, but not sure which is more correct.
Hi, I'd say it does the job, but the numbers differ from what we normally get at my airline. SimBrief also isn't quite the same as my airlines numbers unfortunately.

Thanks for your work! How much of this Virtual Type Rating would apply to A330-900neo? I'm considering getting into the newly released ToLiss aircraft and would be cool to follow your series.
Also für mich ist der FS2024 der pure Frust... ich bekomm den Fenix einfach nicht zum laufen. Es taucht immer ein anderes Problem auf, von Pushback der nicht funktioniert bis hin zu einfrierenden displays und und und. Es ist zum kotzen
@@Nightskyzz-v1 the problem is that it is almost impossible to know where the problem lies.. some are related to addons, some other are MSFS2024 Bugs. Total mess

A little over 20 years ago, airliner cockpits were considered voodoo, now we can get a virtual type rating.

Great info., but Iam still a P3D enthusiastic enjoying PMDG 747 and 777…seems to me more user friendly , and more realistic in flight…

Moin, das ist das standard FS24 EFB.
Das kannst du mit der Tab Taste öffnen

Do you have any TCA side stick sensitivity recommendations? I find the the plane is way to sensitive to stick inputs

not msfs fault, its fenix fault.
