Take it from someone who grew up under her as a child. She was an awesome example . Its one thing to preach the Gospel but the power is when you actually live it.

I woke up this morning and one of my favorite sermons from my late pastor came to my mind... my grandma used to tell me that she liked to get up early in the morning and pray cause she felt like she could hear God clearer... I think I do too. Well, this sermon is called “But we see Jesus.”. It’s not a sermon that people were speaking in tongues and shouting to the entire time but it is a sermon where Mama really just preached what God put on her mind. It was about the man Jesus and in my opinion is probably the most beautiful and intimate portrait of Jesus and his last days alive. Heavenly knowledge for sure.

Indeed, holiness and righteousness is still required. Jesus came in flesh but He never sinned. He set an example that even we are in this flesh, we can still live a holy life in the eyes of God through His Holy Spirit empowering and strengthening us who lives within us. One who claims to be a believer of Christ who doesn't live holy all the time is not a real Christian. God is holy, so by always yielding ourselves, our whole being to Him, He will work in us that we may live a holy and righteous life here on earth. Jesus Christ is our righteousness that means we no longer live for ourselves but we live for Him. That is holiness. When other people believer or non-believer see us, they see Jesus, not us.

Thank God that righteousness is still being preached. Hallelujah! Some folks are so distracting looking ungodly and appearing worldly. Everyone has the right to live their lives as they choose but a saint of God has to have a holy standard of living. The world needs our light. Nothing fulfills is like the Spirit of the Lord.
