Hand wash cashmere in cold water with Woolite. If you have a lot of them put them in lingerie bags on the super gentle cycle with COLD water on the machine. Soaking is allowed, encouraged with dirty ones. I grew up watching my mom take care of her cashmere sweaters, I learned how to take care of mine. Good Luck!
