And she's holding her microphone below her lower lip almost the whole time. This is Mechanics. This is learned. And so wonderful.
I think we're seeing videos that prepare us for her performances, especially in small, intimate clubs BUT... this one... while it doesn't look like a Big Stage Song, just imagine what 5,000 or 15,000 fans will do, singing along, snapping along, clapping along. She roars during her Allsang PA "Feeling Good" climax with 5,000 people cheering her on. What will this song sound like with 15,000 singalong'ers? It may go on and on and on and on... she walks off stage, waving, and they're singing "7th... Encore, 7th... Encore".
🤠 you bet! I wouldn't be surprised if she got a standing ovation when comes ON the stage!
Angelina is a jazz musician, everything she does is different, and better, live than in the recording studio. Every time she sings it it will be different depending on where she is and the audience that surrounds her!

I love this version and I love the revised ending! The live version gives us so much more appreciation of Angelina's voice and style... and yes, her style comes from all the singers she has grown up studying and emulating. Yes ... the drummer has a mic too, so I think she must the the second back-up we can hear ... no close-up of her, though ... I suspect this will be the line-up once touring re-starts ... R (Australia)

Have a go at her rendition of " Young & Beautiful " She was around 12 /13 yrs of age . I remembered you said "Angelina has nothing to envy of the great jazz divas of the past " well, I believe the original artist of the songs that Angelina covers can only envy Angelina's ability to make their songs come alive in people's hearts and minds. And that their songs are now more popular after its been 'Angelinafied'.

I don't know how you do it but you always post reactions of AJ just when I sit down for coffee! Thank you for always making my day. I don't know what took so long to make you the official best reactor of AJ. I already told you and everyone else that a long time ago! LOL. I just saw her 'Love on the Brain' practice and I was blown away. I hope she does a cover of it like 'All I Ask'. Will you please react to it soon? It's just amazing to get to watch her experiment with songs like she does and the fact that she shares them with us, good or bad, is also fantastic! And a duet of you two would be something that I would pay to see. CECI CECI CECI !! Buonasera d'Italia. Sorry, I am a bit late to your reaction today but well, you just made my Saturday. Totally loved (as always) your reaction, your expertise, your enthusiasm and thanks as many will have said already for mentioning the fabulous "The Shield" fb group. I have heard a few reactors sing along to parts of AJ's songs or try to repeat a little section (and of course they get nowhere near) - you Ceci, have an excellent voice and get very close sounding as good. (not surprising really given your own backgound but it shows how good you are yourself - appreciate it) - Now - one of the first things I thought and commented onwhen seeing this studio performance version was, (also in the first 5 seconds like you) the fantastic outfit and pure class look that Angelina has in this and especially the gloves. (don't know why really but they really made it for me). Great reaction Ceci thank you. ps - Love the slightly different look you have today with the hair 😘
