Found on an old CD stuffed in the bottom of a box stuffed at the back of a shelf, this collection of MPG and FLV files now takes on a new historical significance: An insight into the worries of parents and educators in the mid-2000s, when this 'internet' was a new and scary place.
The material is most notable for what it lacks. There is no mention of misinformation, fake news, body image, bullying or radicalisation. The fears shown are more an online outgrowth of the 'Stranger Danger' panic, focusing almost exclusively on sexual predators.
They can be approximately dated from the Panorama episode, which aired in 2008.
