For this Vette is 56 yrs old now and she is real blast form the past and very clean to boot. American made for everything of this car and I do not understand why these car do not bring more. For I was born before the last 2 stars was put on the Flag and she should have more honor than what she is sold for. Old Master Gunnery SGT USMC.
My '68 was identical except for the black top and it was a hoot to drive. Had I been a smarter man I'd still have it. Thanks for the trip down memory lane.
What an amazing car! I love the ‘68 because it had some unique features only the ‘68 had. Amazing the vacuum operated wiper doors and headlight flippers work. I’m in love❤️
MY FAVOURITE CAR ,MY FAVOURITE YEAR, MY FAVOURITE COLOR COMBINATION, MANUAL TRANSMISSION. I WILL BE AUCTIONING OFF SOME ORGANS AN PRECIOUS FAMILY JEWELLERY. AN WITH ANY LUCK IM ON MY WAY 😮
I am always amazed that there is a Useless Smog Pump but no Power Steering Pump which is really all that is really needed, Being a Convertible no A/C is necessary.
I am actually happy about finding a early C3 in original Condition and have never seen a Air Pump on any I have purchased The last one had the nicest Ceramic Coated headers and aftermarket Rack and Pinion Steering.@@Corvette-Dan
I had a 70 and 71, at more than one point they were daily drivers, never had an issue or break down, nothing except one time an overheat, nothing a little water didn't fix at the gas station. I mean I seriously relied on them for transportation cant say they ever let me down.
You won't have that car for long. Beautiful!!! Wish I was closer to you guys. She would be in my garage!! Would not even offer less. She would look Great next to my C6 !!!
Someone finally did a nice repaint instead of a quickie car is very original and shows someone loved it and took good care of it 327 is a great motor I outran alot of big blocks with that motor one of my favorites
This is the same car that my Dad lost his life in on route 6. He was on his way home from work at Bakeolite. Only his top was white. Same color and engine. Brings up many memories. 3/21/71
Sounds like a monster,my uncle had a corvette from the 50's somebody had put a 327 in and it would literally pull the front tires off of the road in a wheelie(and of course sometimes snap the universal joints and drop the drive shaft on the road!)
Nick, that is one gorgeous 68 Stingray! Someone really took pride in keeping this Vette in pristine shape. Very Nice Indeed! 327/ 4 speed convertible Wow!❤🔥🙂👍😎🇺🇸
Wow, she's a looker and a keeper! The right color, great sounding, great condition....and no luggage rack or side pipes?! Winner winner, chicken dinner!!!! 🐔
Why? Hate to say this, but the estate probably sold it. I was eight when this was built. Original buyer was in his/her 20s, perhaps 30s. Math says now 80+.
Family tightly knit old school family values, would suspect the reasons you all would get along. so well hometown family values and hang together in family ebents and holidays, My hats off to POP's and DAD. Salute!
we guessed the horn would work. This one is brilliant. We specifically want a covert stingray 74 or 75 but if that's impossible we can be open to other years.
I always love watching your videos & dreamed of owning many of them but every once in a while you get something that really checks all the boxes... I've always wanted a Corvette for the fun factor... Love most years but late 60's C3 is a beautiful. 327 with a 4 speed = fun... Convertible... Color....
Holy shit Nick!!! This is one gorgeous Vet... im not crazy about convertibles but this baby takes the cake and eats it too! Im sure you will sell this one quick fast and in a hurry too! I love you bro, God bless you and your business "Maple Motors" .... Peace and Love! ❤
My stepfather had a 1968 Lemans blue 350 ci 350 hp multiple car show winner, is what got me into muscle cars. I’ve had a c4 corvette 4 mustangs n ss Monte Carlo , n currently have a gt mustang, all do to that car. I need one , just not convertible, n those first year body style had the ignition in the dash and only year for the c3
I forgot to say...amazing panel fit for a 68 !...usually they were terrible. Someone must have spent a bit of time finessing the panel alignment before the paint job , which was recent by the looks of it.
I'd venture to state a skid plate to protect the bottom of the rear-end lol, maybe a squeeze 1/2 from hitting the camera when running it over for the under carriage view. Someone's gonna own this won't last this week it will be gone bye... bye...
Beautiful corvette
Those 327 motors were great motors
You can tell this was somebody’s baby
Sweet ride
The 327 was nicknamed the "Mighty Mouse" for a good reason, 7000 RPM shifts were the Greatest thing !
Love the 327 with a roller set up, just no rev limit at all.

I just shift at the first hint of valve float around 7000 RPM !@@aarongarcia1101
My Bluebird School Bus Had a 327 and our Bus Driver Mrs. Weikel would floor that bus and go through the gears like Grumpy Jenkins !@@kevinhamblin951
I'm a Corvette guy. This is a beautiful 68 Vette. Boy I would buy this as my everyday driver.

Either your detailers did a great job or sm1 kept this baby super clean.
Chris tucker n jackie chan are smiling right now.
6:42 what a joy, a responsive, great sounding V8 with a manual gearbox 😍😍
Vettes are the best bang for the buck out there
I am always amazed that there is a Useless Smog Pump but no Power Steering Pump which is really all that is really needed, Being a Convertible no A/C is necessary.
That is crazy lol😂
Most of these lost their air pumps. Wish I had the one for my 68!

Great! Had a black '80 Corvette show-stopper here in Germany in the late eighties...
This is just like one I had in 1982, I named it “Fang”! What a fun car!
Wow, I have never seen a self driving Corvette ! LOL, beautiful color.
Just checking out the TLC the owner had for this one! Gorgeous inside and out!

We were loading our 1981 Trans Am in the background when Nick pulled this out to shoot the video. Beautiful Corvette!!!

We’ve had a few like this in the last six months

Nice! A 327 and a 4 speed is all you need in this puppy.

My pick of the week, just a awesome car, won’t see these again
This car looks great. Could those be original miles?
Daily driver quality cars not museum vehicles like Vanguard. Nice, I dig these more.
Glad you like them!
Could a 6'2" 300 lb lardass like me fit in one of these? I do not like many Corvettes but I really like this one.
It would be tight at 6 2 but it’s a convertible 😮
Nice car had a 68 427 three two barrels took them off put a three barrel on it made it faster back in the day
Never was a big fan of those years now I want one😂
I don't know if it's love or lust! lol But this is a stunningly beautiful car!
I would have bought that for that price.
It's a model where the convertible looks better.
Sure a sweet blue corvette there have a good one let’s see what it can do lay some rubber
Very beautiful blue 1968 convertible corvette 327 sounds good nice let's go for a ride yeah horn work sold
Extremely clean classic vette. It will only go up in value.
Shucks, I would've paid that all day everyday for this car! But I don't have anyplace good to keep it.
I forgot to say...amazing panel fit for a 68 !...usually they were terrible. Someone must have spent a bit of time finessing the panel alignment before the paint job , which was recent by the looks of it.
