I am seeing your videos of kashmir border back to back. I am so proud of you, doing these solo trips in public transport. That is really commendable to have the guts to be totally immersed in local way of living. I am going to drive to these border villages in a couple of months, and your videos give me knowledge, encouragement, trust and faith in the locals😊
Your all videos feel like cinema !! Great work niharika ! I was in gurez last year I couldn't go to tulail ! I'll go again before this place gets commericalized
Damn! This is huge! Although this is filmed months back, and my work and shooting everything has improved now. Can’t wait for your to watch latest videos after Kashmir series
I was in touch with some gvt officer, thats how he booked for us. But u can there directly to book it for yourself on the spot, or try contacting them. If no availability then there is a camp site setup just in front of this rest house, u can try that as well
These are border areas, beautiful but venerable, Maharaja built a road from Kashmir valley to Gilgit Via Gurez, the same road is still kacha (Chorwan road), Indian govt couldn't built a road for us, you might have seen Tulail road yourself, we are demanding a tunnel and Pakistan has already started working on Shounter tunnel, many of our youth went to Pakistan that is another problem for us. Army could not have captured Gurez without our assistance in 1947, we can survive with or without them.
Yes, locals are always instrumental in assisting the armed forces, same in the region of kargil during 1999 war, or war that took place in Rajasthan n Gujarat region. For the lack of facilities, definitely the government can be blamed, also the previous gvt., didn't think much about border villages. But hopefully, the change will come, n it is coming, i am seeing myself. And i am sure u dont need defense forces for living, but the quality of living gets hampered in border regions in the absence of these forces, already our neighbors are quite notorious. All the previous attacks happened because of the lack of security n facilities in these regions. So let's be grateful for what we have, and to every soldier who is protecting us.
I am also from Gurez, we are not kashmiris, we are a different ethnicity called Shina. Kashmiris are largest ethnic group of J&K, Especially kashmir valley and Chenab valley. We speak Shina language, our population is only about 60k.
Hello, thanks for the comment! Yes, I am aware that you belong to the Shina group, have mentioned in my Gurez vlog. And I am also very well aware of the Shina presence in Drass and chandarkot! U can check my kargil vlogs. By saying Kashmiris, I only meant ppl living in Kashmir.
*BREAKING News: Pakistan PM approves 24 billions PKR (USD 86 million) grant for Azad Kashmir region after protests by taking IMF loan while India 🇮🇳 approved 8600 million (USD 8.6 Billion) from it's Forex Reserves $ 650+ Billions to improve road infrastructure, hospitals and educational institutions in Indian Administrated J&K and same additional amount will be allotted to POJK & GB region & it's people, if they merge with India immediately* *Inshallah* 😂😁🤔
Yes, we Indians should explore these borders and see how people live... we should express unity to themselves and offer fraternity

बहुत ही बढ़िया और यहां की जीवनशैली देखकर आश्चर्य होता है 👍 क्योंकि बर्फबारी में इनको परेशानी ज्यादा होती होगी 👌👍❤️🇮🇳🙏
