i stumbled on this while creating my abeti playlist..you have explained so very well..keep it coming..mty favourite track by abeti is 'ngblinbo'..she was avant guarde..great content..subscribed from kenya.
@@hernameisaurora karibu sana..i will keep on checking..there are so many personalities we wish to know but whose story lacked a voice till you lent them yours ..ladies who were rumba pioneers like lucie eyenga..mbilia..nana de akumu..baniel bambo..tshala..rocherettes etc
100 % !! It's important for our communities to know more about those artists. It is only thanks to them that we can enjoy the type of music we have nowadays.. Sometimes people forget! Please let me know if you have any artists you'd like me to talk about. Even if I don't know them yet, I love to discover new artists from all over the world. :)
@@hernameisaurora well well said..i have a list of 100 plus artists from the classic school of rumba that i can share over time..from 50s to 80s..i can give you two for starters..lucie eyenga and the short, tragic but prodigiously talented vadio mambenga who overcame a lot of personal adversity..please do it at your own pace..my request should never supercede your current queue of stories waiting to be told
