To be fair, US did not abandon Ukraine. US helped ukraine with billions worth of military equipment. It is the EU who is not helping much with their neighbor ukraine. Taiwan is different from ukraine. Taiwan is an asset while ukraine is liabilities. China's action is to make their audiences happy. In reality, China will run when War erupt.

For a big News channel, you should have your facts right. Ukraine has no Taiwan style defense pact with the US, Why should the US defend it? Why didn't India do it? Taiwan on the other hand has a defense pact with US and that's why US will involve itself in Taiwan like it is doing with Israel

@@crisbols4938 NATO just gave Ukraine outdated weapons, and Taiwan is indifferent, it already has the latest NATO weapons, and probably, NATO might get directly involved. Ukraine is easy for Russia coz Russia is not being hit, War is within Ukraine, it will be a different ball game when they fight a country that can hit Moscow.
Let’s be fair, Ukraine-US relationship was never deep to begin with nor did they have a long history together. Taiwan-US, Philippines-US, Japan-US, and South Korea-US relationships are all much more serious with defence pacts signed and goes all the way back to 19th and 20th century. An attack on any of those countries would be taken far more seriously by US 100% sure of that, especially if it’s China or NoKor that’s involved.

As a Filipino I'm not trying to defend the US against this doubtful question I mean , I just want to emphasize that Ukraine and Taiwan is totally different , The US and Ukraine doesn't have deepen relation before , before Russian invasion. The only reason why The US helping Ukraine is to Destroy Russia without Direct confrontation and also US want to try their new Weapons against Russian weapon. and it was a mistake , on the other hand Taiwan and US has a deepen relation since 1979 And I think For the people of America Taiwan is far more important than Ukraine, so I don't think US Leave Taiwan

Israel will be fine without US, in fact you can easily make sound arguments that US and the international community is what’s holding them back. It’s a nuclear armed country with sophisticated enough technology, so even if all of middle east somehow united to invade Israel, it’s gonna end up disastrous for the entire region.

No country on this planet, make that two countries, can defeat the US in battle. Obviously you don't have the education to understand the US is powerful enough to engage in many conflicts at the same time. There is no need to leave one for the other when dealing with both can be done. As far as Russia goes, they are not a threat to the US in any means other than nuclear. Conventionally the US would wipe Russian forces from the face of the earth quickly. They don't even have the best military in the Ukraine let alone any where else. This can not be said for the south China sea. It is threatened there so somebody needs to keep it free.
